thank you john and dan, this is very beautiful but sad song. sometimes when i hear it, i identify with its message as it pertains to some of the darker and unfortunate things that i and others have lived over the years... the line about laying out my winter clothes and wishing i was gone going home is powerful.
i took a day trip to london recently, it was so on the spur of the moment i didn't have time to think to let you know. it would have been an honor for me to meet you and shake your hand
