  • i wish i was the sledgehammer messiah...no body would fuck with me then...

  • I like their old stuff it's the same route as At The Gates. More manic, speedy.

  • and the best part: speed strid is singing like a drunk santa's voice. This has nothing to do with the amazing Chainheart Machine!

  • @lulapride Do you even know how hard grunting is.

  • @NitroCoasters actually I know, I'm on a band myself doing vocals, and I shared a stage with Soilwork and Dark Tranquility years ago here in Portugal when I was a drummer on a metal band. Merry Christmas man ;)

  • i duno what hes doing technically with the drums at 1:04 but that part sounds like grand failure anthem

  • its called a blastbeat:S

  • i know what blast beats are but there all different.

  • Well im not sure of the technical name, but i call it a double last. you do it by not only blasting, but bouncing your stick off of the rim of the drum with it,. so you hear two snare sounds instead of one. You loser alot of volume, but it's twice as fast as a normal blast

  • thanks dude that made it more clear, got the new soilwork cd yet? i just copped it and it came with a sick dvd of studio and live footage

  • It came with DVD? i want that

! hopefully it's the one i ordered. I heard the album already, and it fucking rules, i just wanted the cd and t-shirt.

  • yeah dude im kinda pissed. i thought the only way you can get the dvd is by ordering it online, but i went to F.Y.E. store and it had the cd/dvd together, it was released today. but no t-shirt, thankfully i ordered the package online, but the cd DOES come with an AWESOME dvd!

  • Awesome! that i didnt know!

  • That's a gravity blast bud. Basically a double stroke roll with one hand as opposed to the single stroke during a blast beat

  • LAWL, gravity blast

  • this whole setlist was identicle to the one i seen live, but instead of chainheart machine it was wings of domain

  • holy shit when is this from?! this is fuckin insane!!

  • 2006 i think in Germany

  • the keyboards sound great finally. first live recording i can actually hear them well!
