I saw Mimi in Funny Girl back in 1966 and she was pretty good. Barbra had already moved on to do the show in London at that point. A year later Marilyn Michaels played Fanny in the road show of Funny Girl and she was, in my opinion, a better Fanny than Mimi. Her interpretation was pretty much mimicking Barbra's, since she made her money impersonating Barbra.
