Root lg optimus v phone from virgin mobile

thanks for the instructions...very easy to follow..however i'm still having an issue...when i use superoneclick, it says that i've rooted successfully, but when i check using a root checker(or others) it says i don't have root access??? i've also tried rooting my phone using cmd command prompt and i get through everything fine, and still have no root access...i don't know what could be the problem. please help

yo when i click on the super one click with the android symbol and the red ring behind it it asks if i want to run it i hit run and it says "to run this application,you first must install one of the following versions of the .NET frameworks: v2.o.50727 contact your application publisher for instructions about obtaining the appropriate version of the .NET framework " and my only choice is to pick ok what do i do?

@yesismokeweed420 get it, it will help you run superoneclick. .NET was made by Microsoft so it's not a virus or anything.

It's Super One Click v 1.9.1 You will also need  LG Optimus V Drivers to root your phone.

when i hit the root button it waits a sec. then it says FAILED at the very bottom is this because i installed the drivers (from lg) when i first pluged in my device to my cpu?

I think what coltsdude1000 is asking is if the home screen looks any different, if the speed of the phone has increased or decreased, what are the changes...

@SteveKy87 Nope everything on the phone remains the same for example if you install another custom rom thats different. But in this video we are focusing on rooting the device. Rooting is like given system access to your phone other words know as jailbreaking basically so you can do what yu want
