No it is nothing like that. It is about the fact, that this song is kind of lame, where their other songs where kick ass. About the fact, that this video is not availlable in Germany (for some fucking reason). It is about the fact that now other people than Futures themselves are gonna involve theirselves into this music, wich should not happen. It is about the face that this is not indie anymore.

not going to lie, I like the song and all but it really lacks some of the energy that appealed to me on The Holiday. I'm not sure if it is Mercury's involvement though. I think they just want to go for a maturer sound that appeals to an older audience rather than the bubblegum pop music that a lot of the bands in their old scene are churning out.

@DontQuestionPirates I do like their previous singles!... but not this one. Getting signed does not mean you are getting somewhere... why do you think there are only 3 major labels now? Rock bands don't sell records anymore, urban music does. Bands like this, deaf havana, canterbury are all good in their own right, but won't do well on majors, because major labels try and do what they've done here... make a record that will work on radio to try and sell songs on itunes.
