This song became popular in Bombay, and was soon picked up by The East Indian Catholic followed by Goan migrants.

  • Thanks for the posting.

Takes me back to the good old 60's. This was originally recorded by Ernest Ignatius from Bangalore. He now lives in the UK.

  • must be an anglo-indian song or whatever, but its been re-arranged by a srilankan band for a karaoke album... so chill :)

  • This is a very traditional anglo-indian song made famous in the early 60's by Earnest Ignatius - who now lives in the UK this song featured in a musical in the West End I think it was called Bombay Dreams. So sorry guys but not Sri Lankan or Ceylonese!

  • how this is not on G4

  • This is From Ceylon or Sri Lanka ... Not From Goa... This became popular on Radio Ceylon back then

  • It sounds like Columbian cumbia!!!
