I don't know how much to thank you but still thanks. Would you know of that group who sung that and other songs like saints go marching and old man Donald...had a bhens? Please revert
Origanl song is done by an Anglo Indian who lives in the U.K. today.......And it's never ever been a Goan song.......just for the record. The singer is Ernest Ignatius
gr8 to hear this song ,sang a lot in our bachelor days ,this is mid 60's song by Erenst Ignatius, relayed by Madras AIR , & was the fav in all the clubs on dance nights(live band those days)
Cant get better than this, Near Ultimate. PLEEEEAAAAAAZZZZZZZEEEE - I have to shamelessly ask if you will send this video/song to my mail ID bala.electrolink@gmail.com
@siddmark123 I'm a Konkani and Honest enough to give credit For this ..song..and also to Anglo-Indian and Anglo-Sri-Lankan from Southern parts...Hope you aware of Anglo-Indian from Bangalore, Madras, Hyderabad..???? This song became popular in Bombay, and was soon picked up by The East Indian Catholic followed by Goan migrants.
This is a very traditional anglo-indian song made famous in the early 60's by Earnest Ignatius - who now lives in the UK this song featured in a musical in the West End I think it was called Bombay Dreams. So sorry guys but not Sri Lankan or Ceylonese!

Thanks for the posting.
Takes me back to the good old 60's. This was originally recorded by Ernest Ignatius from Bangalore. He now lives in the UK.
