Actually electrics don't always win, was the deisel a.c. or d.c. traction? Was the electric a.c. or d.c.? D.C. motors produce max. torque at 0 r.p.m. ie. they load up fast, a.c. load's up slow but is best for long haul ops. Cool vid. though, thx.
