  • I use a Delta quite extensively. A couple of favourite features: Putting the strings output through a good phaser = instant seventies bliss! For the synth section, a trigger into the VCF input gives great rythmic effect! And the vibrato of the synth section is to die for!

  • Man I miss my Delta. The separate outs for strings and synth I think was my favorite thing about this little synth.

  • The VCF input (fcM) isn't actually supposed to be used with audio. It's for externally control the cutoff frequency. With a foot controller etc. for adding modulation.

  • Correct. However, the audio output of the device I built provides variable voltage through the audio out, as does any sound generator - put a multitester or scope across the shield & tip of an audio cable to see this. Therefore there is room for creativity. If you've ever patched a modular, you'll know the most interesting results come from experimentation. ;o)

  • Yes. And of course I can hear this nice experiment on this vid:)

I guess I was only saying the Delta doesn't have a "standard" filter input feature, so one can not use it as an external filter like filters are usually used.

  • Indeed, and a shame that many of the old classics lack the direct filter input. One of the reasons I'm building clones of the filter with added control. If you're interested in these, search for megaohmaudio on google.
