Funny that they used footage for the SNES version, as it's the only version that looks like the arcade. The Genesis and CD versions play better though, as it better retains the combos and behavior of the arcade.
@Yoritoshi Both the version you hear in the movie and this version were released on a CD single. This is 'Hypnotic House', the version in the movie is "techno Syndrome", and the single was actually available for quite awhile before the movie. (They also appeared on the album "Mortal Kombat: The Album.")
If you want a copy of the single (or the album), you can find either one brand new - they're pretty common on eBay.
That is how you fill a friggin CD.

@joemj413 Turns out the song was older than we thought it was, huh? This Sega CD port was released two years before the movie.
