Preaching hemp is usually a social conditioning tactic to get people use to the idea of things like hemp and marijuana. Marijuana as "medicine" & hemp as fuel are "smoke screens" of conditioning. I'm sure nobody is apposed to hemp including me, but don't think for a minute that hemp won't be use to disguise the growing and transporting of pot! When I find a hemp advocate I find a pot smoker nearly every time. Burning anything for power is not smart, heat is what we need and geothermal is it.

Our farms are owned and operated by our shareholder farmers as well as some independents who are interested in growing hemp. They each work independent of each and of us but share resources like cleaning and storage facilities sometimes. A good place to start would be the Hemp Trade Association or the Hemp Trade Alliance. We could do this same thing here in America, and it would create many green jobs. Also we wouldn't have to import Hemp for the products we make here in the US!

Maybe our new President Obama will see the logic in legalizing Hemp and Cannabis, and move us all into the 21st century!

Cannabis sativa L. subsp: is hemp and the subject of this video. It has little to no THC..you could smoke your brains out and get nothing but a headache.

C. sativa subsp. indica - Is THC Marijuana and is not usefull for fibers or human consumption of seeds. It will however make you stoned.

These plants are 2 different species yet they are both regulated the same way for various reasons.
