this is a young black bear against a tiger, even adult black bear are small about 300lbs so they are too small to fight an adult tiger which is usually 800lbs however this black bear was brave bcause it didnt get killed by the tiger because this tiger is a punk. this tiger should pick with someone his own size like a grizzly bear or brown bear and the tiger would be history with just one hit in the back by a 1500 lbs brown bear the tiger has no chance at all.

Tigers do not prey on grizzlies. Lol! They can only kill a black bear. even large black bears can be killed by a tiger. But a Kodiac bear would rip any cat to shreds. However, bears are easily intimidated and don't know their own strength.

@rockafelladw first off, learn math. second, bears may be strong, but they are slow and have fat weight as well. Tigers usually have very little fat and are extremely fast. By the time the bear swipes at the tiger, the 4 inch teeth are in the bear's neck. A tiger is moves faster, is more agile, and has muscles designed to take down things larger than itself. And there are records of tigers taking down gorrila by the way, not sure if they live near silverbacks though.

A cheetah may be exteremly fast, but has very low stamina... and the cheetah is slower than several birds. The fastest animal is the peregine falcon, reaching over 200 mph. Cheetahs cannot kill a lion because the lion is fast as well and very strong. Tigers have attacked elephants and won before, check your facts. Everything else runs from elephants.

All there is are dead remains of elephants and bears, and people saying that a tiger was likely to have killed them. That is not proof of anything. Second, Indian elephants are much smaller than their African relatives. Most Indian elephants don't even have tusks. Thus, no defense mechanism.

A siberian tiger can own a hippo as long as the hippo don't have any water to escape to and if the tiger can stay on the hippos back and he will eat him alive. Lions and hyenas prey on young hippos all the time and lions have taken down full grown hippos but it normally will take a pride of them to do so. Tigers are bigger and stronger than lions, so you do the math...
