I bet you are just lonely and bored cause you don't have any friends get a life.............quick before you really kill yourself

  • @NINOblack100 Fuck off. I don't need your input.

  • i dont get how you say all the other stuff is fake but she's real... i mean nothing against herbut it seems exactly like the stuff i see everyday

  • All the past hip hop female singers are fake American 100% hype, except for Beyonce. Certain styles of music are meant to be for black people's accent. SD seems to have it. I'm not so much into this music but I'm telling you It HAS been a set-up to make it only look like people are winning. The music industry has been dead all around compared to the past, much like the economy and everything else. Thus you might have a bit of challenge to re-awake the masses.

  • @TheGreatCorneliuski you really have no idea what youre talking about. Mainstream music has been crap for DECADES and before that... it was probably crap then too. Not many people like hard to produce or natural talent based music... no mass appeal to that. We want to listen to people that seem to have no talent and music that sounds like it comes from a free down loadable beat machine. Makes us think were capable of that.

  • I agree with you. I said SD seems to have it. U said "makes us think we are capable of that". THATs what I have been saying since Beyonce lost to that pale girl.

If you can sing a song that other people only think they "can do it too" as if they are going to "live their dreams" but in reality only in their sleep THEN you will be given an award for hyping up the "dreams". America has regressed talent so that it only seems all new and inspiring to the hopeless. It's called high hopes

  • @TheGreatCorneliuski thats not exclusive to America... hell we dont even corner the market on useless talent making it big. Japans huge on that that i know of... most of Europe is hell the whole world is! You have a distorted view of things

  • @TheGreatCorneliuski The reason you might see more US stars is the rest of the world eats our crap up for some reason. The majority of our celebritys are just as talentless as the rest of the worlds... ours just get a lot more exposure for some reason

  • nice

  • The moral of this video is: if you a black girls with blond hair and you have Lexus convertible, then, don't trust a guy who lives in Harlem, and stay with your girlfriends.

  • I love this song too and her..where is she??? =)

And directed to the negative comments about the hair so what we dont knock the ones who knock us but yet some are quick to jump in the tanning bed and get a darker skin tone to look like us, wear clothes, and rock to what we rock to.

So what about all of it... Music is good no matter what the color of hair who is darker.

  • @AlexisPratt09 Motown didn't promote her properly. She only got her 2 videos on TV as promotion, no radio play, nothing and they dropped her after 1 album

She went to Virgin & who did similar to Motown. Their idea of promotion was to give the single free on iTunes. But hardly anyone knows who she is due to Motown's lack of promotion - so hardly anyone downloaded it & dropped her after they charged for the single & attempted a 2nd single. Her 2nd CD in In Japan & on Wal-Mart's online mp3 store

  • @ScaryJBlige Oh okay thanks! I remember her and it was song of hers they use to play on the radio all the time.

  • @AlexisPratt09 it was Any Other Night! Loved that song! But I just looked her up and I didnt know she was American/Jamacain Descent

  • @AlexisPratt09 yeah, she got some radio play where I was from in 2002 but she wasn't played enough.

I bought her CD when I first saw "Any other night" On BET in 2002 for the first and only time. So She didn't get much video play either. I didn't even know this video existed until last year when it was on Universal Music's page. Her albun "every beat of my heart" is on Wal-Mart's online mp3 store as "Brave: Nichole Nordeman". Name is incorrect (no clue why), music is not. It's on CD in Japan.

  • lol at the mary j wanna be

  • This was my song...nah actually I liked the whole cd Sharissa should've blown up but I guess the Mary J comparisons didn't help and sh*t oh well I still bump that cd to this day

  • @mylife1977

So I'm not the only one who IMMEDIATELY pegged this artist as a Mary J copycat. that's good to know. I haven't listened to R&B since the mid-80's and I thought this video was new. When I saw this vi MY FIRST THOUGHT is that this artist is trying to steal Mary J's 1990's flavor. lol

  • @SpeakDaRealTV4

    * mid-90's

  • who leaves a video camera on themselves cheating around...

c'mon son, step YOUR game up.

  • I fail to see the point of arguing. This video was posted to share music, not for people to argue over comments.

    Just enjoy the song.

  • @marissamickles I agree who cares what color the person hair is

  • i love this song!

  • trash

  • kinda nice

  • I remember when it was considered taboo for Black people to dye our hair blonde back in the day. I'm SO glad we got over that and it's accepted now! I LOVE blonde on any race of people. I think it's HOT !!

  • @vanitysadeparis it still is considered taboo. The Black women that wear blonde hair are considered ghetto, sell outs, or just racially confused even to this day. I see them ridiculed all the time where I'm from. A lot of our Black people will NEVER get over the hair issues nor the light/dark skin issues sadly. Even though many Black female celebs are sporting the blonde hair, if a sista rocks it down here where I'm from, they gets no love to say the least.

  • @madefrom9 where are you from?? Thats sad if thats how ppl look at black females about their hair. I know alot of well educated females who hair is blond

  • @AlexisPratt09 Let's cut the crap out and get honest as black people. The yellow blonde hair (AND WEAVE) represents that fact that the black woman has BEEN PISSED ON and bought in the white women being the standard of beauty. You really need to check on out my videos on this issue.

    /watch?v=BqEI3Nn_Q1c

    /watch?v=T9eGULfiNnw

    /watch?v=XIqAnayb9f4

  • @SpeakDaRealTV4 But my whole point is why does it matter what color your hair is..yeah everyone is entitled to there own opinion about anything. Im not making a big deal on what color or anything cuz I dont care and its sad that ppl judge ppl on their weaves and what they choose to do for their appearence.

  • Comment removed

  • @AlexisPratt09

This is reason for ALL of our actions. We are judged everyday, based on our ACTIONS. We can not hide this reality anymore than we can hide an erupting volcano. Much of this which we try to justify and excuse is based on SELF-HATE. We only need to look at the 'Black Doll vs White Doll' experiment to see how deep-rooted the issue is. Trying to gloss over things does not address the pathologies which beset us.

  • @AlexisPratt09 , I'm from Augusta GA. Here in GA, the wounds of slavery's racism still runs deep unfortunately. A Black woman who wears blonde hair is seen as wanting to be white and being ashamed of her own heritage. Add in colored contacts and she will be verbally attacked to no end. It is mainly other Black females that ridiculed these women. Educated or not, wearing blonde hair as a Black female down here is considered an act of racial betrayal. Maybe that will change someday. Who knows.

  • @madefrom9 hopefully it changes and when I lived in Atl I went and visted there and came across some rude ppl and I didnt understand. But as we all common sense ppl know that your appearance doesnt prove who you are but we as ppl do judge before knowing the real person

  • You are absolutely right. We are not supposed to judge a book by it's cover but in cases like this, a lot of our Black people just can't handle seeing one of their own with what is considered to be "white folks" hair. I was in the Underground Atlanta once and witnessed some sista's grilling this other one because she had on a blonde wig. They were giving her every black history lessen the could remember causing the surrounding crowd to chime in like they were at church. Sad but true.

  • @madefrom9 True. Its sad that my generation still witness things like this today when its 2010 look how far we've came the last thing we should worry about its what someone hair color is...you know? But I cant change it =)

  • @AlexisPratt09 the fact that it is 2010 and we are still on this racism stuff is tragic indeed. No one wins the race in racism. Especially Black people who hold themselves back with that mentality.

  • She was trying to tell them that she was just wearing it as a style and that she was a student at Spelman, a historically Black college. I was tripping. The lesson should have been tolerance.

  • bla

  • wow yall bugging

  • By the way, I clicked on this link thinking that it was going to be something extremely stupid, but this is old school. I like this type of music.

  • nigger r

  • Classic 90s R&B song...

    Hate it...

  • To all those fuckin' clowns with the racist comments, at least be slick with your remarks. I got one for you Neo Nazis. MY MY MY....WHAT REDNECKS YOU HAVE....LOL.

    REAL TALK.

  • @kostjama come on you guys this is 2010 and your still racist you guys brought us here now you wanna hate that we are better than you with more swag nigger means an ignorant person wich your clearly showing you are so what does that tell you get off our dicks and stop hating

  • @hail2468 nigger means ignorant person and you clearly are holding that title very well come get to the future quick its 2010 yall brought african americans here now you hate it cuz were better than you in everything now we have a black president i know you must be furious ha bow down to your highness i dont dislike white people but i dont get how you can steal people then hate them and act like we came here by choice noooooooooooooo

  • @NINOblack100 ROFL.... So you're saying your superior to white people? I know that the definition of racist is hating someone for their skin color, but don't you realise that acting as though your race is superior is a bit racist in itself? We're all equal in all ways. Some people are better than others, but to say a whole race of people is better than another race is ignorant to say the least. But whatever dude. As long as you feel proud of yourself, just don't go telling people they should bow
