I graduate nursing school in 2.5 months and you have answered more questions and been more informative in your videos than I have found throughout my entire school career. Thanks.
@timthetintinman Hi there! Have you been able to check out my Army Nursing videos? All of all your questions are answered in those videos, so make sure you check them out! Let me know if you still have anymore questions!
I love your videos and insights! I'm a nurse in the Philippines, our hospital specializes in chest and lung diseases. Everyday he have about 25-35 patients with only 2 bedside nurses and 1 charge nurse. I think even though it's stressful an energy exhausting, as long as you enjoy what you do and you do it for a purpose, you can get by and things will never go wrong.
Hi Renee. I'm enjoys your videos, and will starts school in Miami RN program and I knew you christian the way you talked, God bless your heart, you has been explained so much interesting information.
@Mahogany0615 Well, in the army, it's a little different. I'm on salary pay, so I think the hourly rate comes out to be about $18-$19/hr, but my housing is paid for along with food. It's a nice income :)
@DiamondsGlow87 Yes, they do give you an allowance for housing if you decide to live off base which is nice! Baout relocating, you can expect to move just about every 2 1/2 - 3 years.
I am so happy and proud for you!!! Your own is coming soon!!! What floor are you working on? Alot of people says that school is different from the real world and it is different!!! We aren't following a nurse, at my school from the beginning you are in charge of 2 pts not one but 2 and me coming in as an LPN bridge student was hard but PRAYER gets me through, thank-you JESUS!!! GOD has you in control

I'm a new grad in the ICU for 5 1/2 months, which has been brutal, only 12 weeks orientation. I agree....nursing school didnt really teach me how to organize a shift, how to go talk with doctors, family etc, . . In my opinion nursing school taught me how to pass the nclex but not much on working as a nurse.
@7alevan Well first of all, congrats on going straight into the ICU... I think that has to be one of the most challenging jobs for a new nurse, and they know their stuff, so you should be proud of yourself! 12 weeks for the ICU does sound brutal, but you made it through! Do you feel pretty comfortable in your position now? I agree with you about nursing school... it's a whole different ball game in the real world. I wish you the best of blessings though!
@Medicalphiliac Yay!! Yes, I was on the 16th, you? You are right about the neighbors and I can't stand them! It's my fault though because I said I would never live beneath someone again and here I am! Happy belated birthday!

Can you help me with some questions?
1. How do you get started in nursing with the army?
2. Can you go to any nursing school?
3. Do you have to move somewhere or do you stay fairly close to home?
4. You don't have to join the army, as in fighting physically in battle right?
5. Anything you'd like to mention. I am still trying to watch all of your videos! :)

Happy late birthday! I just had one, too.
Sagittarius?
Anyway, Dude, neighbors can be sooo annoying, and the more you ask them to be quiet, the more they want to annoy you!
