For the record (in the info about the video), Billy Graham and John McCain are not associated. McCain just tried to get Graham's endorsement, but he didn't get it.

Also, he didn't show Hannity much of anything. He just let Hannity reel off a litany of BS and then gave a non-newsworthy response because he wants to leave anything unresolved that he can.

The only thing that made vietnam vietnam was that our soilders were not allowed to win. Politicians fought that war while our soilders died with fighting with 3 hands tied behind their backs. The violence going on in Iraq is no where near the scale of vietnam. The two are not comparable.

Although advised otherwise the administration sent in very little military force and thought it would be a cake walk. They also secured the oil fields FIRST before anything else. It's being waged to perpetuate war and not to end it just like Vietnam was. It's all about political/personal agendas and war profiteering.

If the oil fields were destroyed, then how is Iraq's economy going to recover? We had to do it to give them enough stability to have a chance of rebuilding. The initial war was a cake walk. Iraq had a paper army. This is the first time we have done what we are doing now- you can't expect us to get it right on the first 1 or 2 tries. We adapted our strategy and it is working now. Good thing humans never gave up on airplanes when the first 1000 crashed.

And where is Iraq's economy right now? They make something like 1/3 the oil right now compared to before the occupation. Yes, it IS an occupation. The initial war was a cake walk yes. Bush/Chenney etc were told by the military generals and advisers they needed more troops but they didnt care. Why should McCain go after Obama? Obama's shame has become an incredibly public spectacle for all to see.
