Its a hundered degrees here in the middle of August but i saw the christmas tree in the background so i thought i would watch this one...christmas is my favorite time of year and this video just made me smile!!

Such fun ornaments! I was telling Gina a copule week sago my son said our tree is too "vaginized," lol. It's white and look like someone vomited sparkles, pink & purple all over it! I'm w/ you, though - I'm a single mom and The Boy is 16, so I go all out and it's really all about him. In fact, my BF & I broke up in March and this will be my first holiday w/ no gifts, lol, but it doesn't even matter to me - as long as The Lad has a great time, I'm happy. =) Thx for sharing!

I have a really fun cinnamon ornament recipe that my daughter & I make together every year, you should give it a try with your kids...
1/3 cup cinnamon, 1/3 cup applesauce, 1T. Elmer's white glue. Knead together & roll out to about 1/2 inch thickness then use cookie cutters to make shapes & a straw end to punch the hole at the top for hanging. It takes a few days to fully dry but once they dry decorate them with gold fabric paint & hang up to enjoy for years to come!

Lisa i mentioned a glass top only because it will protect your grandmothers vanity so you can pass it down to yours and makes a wonderful palette to mix makeup in or test how opaque something is by testing it out on glass, i Pour or squirt or put my mineral foundation right on the glass top and go from there. all you need is a swipe of a paper towel and wow its 100% clean, (you cant do that with wood). you can get glass custom cut to fit- pics of grandma under the glass would be sweet. Love this video!! My little boy and I put a white tree in his room. Him and I made paper ornaments for his tree and he decorated them. We made chain paper garland, origami ornaments, and cut out paper hands of the family to put on there too!! Fun! Fun! Love to see how excited my little 5yr old gets about Christmas!!

Lisa if your one of the mothers at school that volunteers for everything i have tons of ideas for easy cute cheap crafts..i just did this with my art students take clear glass Xmas balls pour a little metallic paint & roll it in your hands to paint squiggle lines on the inside or fill clear balls with white feather and fine glitter. I LOVE your kinda tree. When you held up the girly nut cracker it matched YOU!- same colors as your make up /clothes. i hope your vanity has a glass top x shelly

I have a really fun cinnamon ornament recipe that my daughter & I make together every year, you should give it a try with your kids...
1/3 cup cinnamon, 1/3 cup applesauce, 1T. Elmer's white glue. Knead together & roll out to about 1/2 inch thickness then use cookie cutters to make shapes & a straw end to punch the hole at the top for hanging. It takes a few days to fully dry but once they dry decorate them with gold fabric paint & hang up to enjoy for years to come!

Lisa i mentioned a glass top only because it will protect your grandmothers vanity so you can pass it down to yours and makes a wonderful palette to mix makeup in or test how opaque something is by testing it out on glass, i Pour or squirt or put my mineral foundation right on the glass top and go from there. all you need is a swipe of a paper towel and wow its 100% clean, (you cant do that with wood). you can get glass custom cut to fit- pics of grandma under the glass would be sweet. Lisa, I think this is my favorite video you have done. I enjoy your cosmetics videos but this video really shows your true passion, your family. You are so friendly and personable and I just loved hearing the stories that go with each ornament! I love when my kids decorate the tree themselves. You look so pretty. I don't think the foundation is too light. Your ornaments and tree are so beautiful. I've seen holiday mooses before, too. I always thought they were too heavy to hang on the tree. Your mother bought you a nice ornament. It was nice to hear all the stories. My mom is nuts is about nutcrackers and ornaments, but she doesn't have any nutcracker ornaments. lol Since I don't have a camera, I'm going to say one of my favorite Christmas things are Jay Strongwater ornaments.

Love this video!! My little boy and I put a white tree in his room. Him and I made paper ornaments for his tree and he decorated them. We made chain paper garland, origami ornaments, and cut out paper hands of the family to put on there too!! Fun! Fun! Love to see how excited my little 5yr old gets about Christmas!!

great video lisa!! i finally bought that #55 airbrush from sephora and i love it!!! i used it with the mac sculpt & shape foundation which i just bought too and that brush works so well with that foundation!! Lisa if your one of the mothers at school that volunteers for everything i have tons of ideas for easy cute cheap crafts..i just did this with my art students take clear glass Xmas balls pour a little metallic paint & roll it in your hands to paint squiggle lines on the inside or fill clear balls with white feather and fine glitter. I LOVE your kinda tree. When you held up the girly nut cracker it matched YOU!- same colors as your make up /clothes. i hope your vanity has a glass top x shelly

This foundation looks beautiful on you. I think this is a keeper.Looks flawless. I can't believe you have 5 cats and they don't bother your tree. I have 2 cats and have to use shatterproof ornaments or else boom all over the floor.They have gotten better with age but the trees srill intrigue them.We have 3 trees,no kids just 2 furbabies.You and your tree are gorgous.
