Stupid comments here! people don't know that Mr2 have a really difficult to do a burn out! why! because they are mid engine! that means engine are in the rear not the front so more weight on the rear engine the more traction they will get! so burn out wasn't made for mr2 they are made to launch and take corners!

U know, what he's basically telling you to do is an engine rebuilt. Which can have various costs, if you do it yourself it will cost you around 1K if you have a shop do it 3K-6K but you'll have an engine with 0 miles.

An engine rebuilt is basically changing all the seals, piston rings, shafts, bearings, headgasket, waterpump, etc. Plus, if he has an engine knock you probably wanna find out what caused the knock first of all, and then take care of the rebuilt

Eh, his mr2 isnt anything particularly special. Looks like a stock gen 3 with a few bolt ons, you can get gen 3's into the 12's with like $500 in bolt ons.
