The problem we are facing has nothing to do with economics or government, its a moral issue and a lack of belief in a Sovereign and All Knowing and All Powerful God. Civilizations exist for the pleasure of its Creator and God has grown tired of mens lack of faith and the result is the moral fabric that holds everything together has come undone and theres no institution that can stand. The fall of economies and governments and marriages is a result of moral decay.

I cant say I agree with peter's economics, but more so his politics for the most part. I'd have to say there is no such thing as a free market economy, and there is more than balancing budgets, and that involves housing, clothing, and feeding people to better society, and not letting a natural resource such as gold dictate those actions that need to be increased. New Deal economics, Hamiltonian economics more so need to be implemetned, and we need a revolution. American, not Austrian economics!
why are we not "worthy of capitalsim" as you say? Congress has shown that it doesn't give a flying fuck what the people think. Voting them out hasn't worked. Yes, it is the elite's fault for what's happening. They made this phony economy and blinded people with Britney Spears and football. It's like the bar tender pouring alcohol down the patrons throat and then stealing his wallet. The suggestion that we are not worthy of capitlaism is absurd, as if there's a criteria for it.
capitalism started in about 1790 with some Adams dude who promoted that greed can be manipulated for the better of us all through what he called the "invisible hand" of commerce. he called his idea capitalism. what has manifested instead is a dog-eat-dog mentality, a vestige where folks will pretty much exploit anyone or anything, for money without morals or integrity, pretty much the way humans do everything....with self-interest. THAT's why we're not worthy. It requires honesty to survive.
Capitalism works, socialism and communism don't. This greed is a result of government regulation and exploitation. The Japanese are capitalist and they are not as greedy. They don't pay their CEO's millions of dollars, and in fact THEY are the first ones to take a hit in their pay if things aren't well. Their government doesn't infterfere like ours. Greed will always exist; government makes it worse. If socialism is so great, how about I sit on my ass and you pay for my livelihood.
Fact is, pure capitalism or communism are anything "pure" is unobtainable because of our greed so it's a paradox folks. Maybe we're just not fully evolved yet. Call me the nihilist or whatever but...facts are just that. Japan got credit happy back then too. Look at how credit was administered recently. They've turned into a drug. Now everyone's jonesin' where's the invisible hand? AKA antitrust legislation to topple these giants.
have you studied how its abolition by the bitish banking thugs through the currency act ...caused the colonies to go into debt and poverty and casued the american war of independence...
it was a debt free currency ..it was money used not as a commodity but as a method of exchange..
the british banking elite shoved usury and centraliised debt currency into the colonies' faces and forbid them to use a decentralised debt free instrument
please study it before you get brainwashed into socialism ...
yeah, like the fiat money idea. I have read some about what you're referring to. Ya know it's kind of what is happening today but in reverse: countries are debasing their own currencies to stay competitive.
Of course who suffers?
really not a socialist. I think I'm a misanthrope, which is bothersome. Never used to feel this way
looking for where you say you're for capitalism...nope don't see it. You don't think we're worthy of capitalism, so obviously you think we should have something else. You don't have to explicitly say you want socialism by spelling it out.
I believe you stated FDR prolonged the '29 Depression. I simply pointed out that he was cleaning-up the mess of others. It's never easy to clean-up another's mess.
As far as my personal feelings and what I embrace politically..well, I have not mentioned that. All I suggest is that ANY system created WILL become corrupt due to human nature.
yes, lmao, he prolonged it by interfering with the free market(HE turned this country into a socialist one). If you think capitalism caused this mess, you're living in a dream world. We have not been a capitalist country since before FDR. The Japanese interefered in their markets and it's what we're doing now. It's not the government's job to clean up in capitalism. That is why this will be another depression. You think we have capitalism and that's why you're blaming it, but we don't.
Where is the morality and integrity in socialism? There is none. From a moral and integrity view, socialism is worse. Sure everyone is "equal"...equally poor and the elite very rich.
It was the folks interpreting capitalism. Easy credit caused 1929 crash with a stock bubble. 2008 crashed with easy credit to the mortgage industry mostly. common theme: easy credit.
Fostered buy zealots who just cannot seem to get enough money in their pockets..that is not capitalism it is unfettered greed gone wild. so it's no dream greedy fucks foiled the works
easy credit from a centralised source , the fed ..chartered by a corrupt congress in 1913...representatives of acentralised oligarchy...
what happened in 1929 was becasue of a few oligarchs ..that is exactly what is happening now ...with the same oligarchs threaqtenign martial law and forcing congress to bail them out...this is not freemarket ..it is fascism..
same situation in the 1930's when the oligarchs funded smedley bultler to organise a fascist coup , which he outed to the congress
yeah I see your point. it actually is a pretty good comparison I'd say. not the script itself but what people did to manipulate it and the situation at hand. Just tells me this crap goes back to the day we learned to cheat. so sad, man
yes ...indeed ...obama is the new fdr ..he is already being potrayed as the messiah...i kid you not when i say that i was in a convent in india just a few weeks back ...and they had a picture of Obama in thier prayer room.... it was run by belgian nun order ..funded by the saxe goth clan that is the black nobility ..the fornt for the city of london thugs who run europe
that is why a debt free decentralised currency and economies that existed during the colonies is required...local economies that want to get rich through the dark side of human nature ..prostitution , slavery and other get rich schemes will finally debase their currency and turn into ghost towns....a bit like what is happening in USA ..with its large scale military industrial complex... local communities that believe in sustainbale trading of goods and services and a currency that backs it
He is so lonely in his fight. Not the only one, not without support of people, but without real power to change anything on national scale or change minds of todays politics.
Peter Schiff was Ron Pauls economic advisor during his campaign, but as we all saw, America wants things dumbed down. No one wants to be aware because that takes away from profits of corporate America... Ron Paul is the only candidate that actually made sense on the campaign trail...

Greed is inherent to human nature. I will only accept socialism if run by 1) a computer or 2) aliens.

please study colonial scrip and its role in the american revolution

Colonial Script has to do with logistics of goods and the capital used, I believe.
Other than proving private and public sectors are incompatible what other relevance are you referring to?
what's with all the thumbs-down on my threads? truth hurts 'eh?
