@QforzFovfi It depends on the song. Sometimes I go back and forth between 3,4 and 5 depending on the song and how tricky it is. The really fast tricky songs (like the dragonforce songs) I tend to play on 5, but most songs I play on 4.

@Bloodyhelldeath It's never too late to get into pro gaming... but you have to have some serious skills to get in. If you are dominating at tournaments or are ranking high on all the leaderboards but haven't had the cash to travel to a bunch of tournaments I suggest going to my website which you can find by googling starslay3r. The blog postings you're looking for are called "so you want to go pro" and there's 2 parts. In there I give tips on how to start pursuing that path. Hope it helps!

@mangalover0149 Nope. Those are "slider gems" which you do not have to strum as long as there are not more than one of the same color in a row. All you have to do is tap the color fret button for those. You can tell that they're not normal notes because they're somewhat transparent.

I recently FCed the song (PS3, and no I dont have a video, working to get some decent hardware though) and I've seen reported scores of 375k etcetera, and I am having one hell of a time getting above 370k, I know the optimum is 2-2-2-2 but its when to activate, I know the first 2 are next note, but the third one I think is delayed to the 8th YO chord, idk bout the last activation though

@theslayermon I never said it was optimum. I believe I wrote in the description that this was a sightread and I was just activating whenever seemed like a good time. I FCed about 30 songs in one day on my first run through the songs so many of my scores are not optimal, simply just a first run FC. I usually go back and try to get higher scores at a later time. Also, I use scorehero for optimal paths but thank you for the advice.
