Hi, the Kinesis Contoured would be my favorite keyboard, but it's too expensive at the moment and I can't find a good used one anywhere. I bought a Kinesis Freestyle for work and a compaq Mx 11800 for home with has the same cherry brown switches as the Contoured.
I type Dvorak, which is great, I never touchtyped qwerty. I very much dislike staggered keys, the contoured has straight- matrix keys.
It's from the future, isn't it ?

Looks complicated to use and completely unnecessary.

That's too bad....
My advise is "don't be afraid to be slowing of typing and making more mistakes."
In my situation, it takes 2,3 weekis to get used to KINESIS keyboard.
sorry for my poor English...

I'm taking a medical transcription course.
as soon as I finish I'm considering picking up a kinesis, and typing dvorak.
Is it any easier to type on a kinesis using dvorak? do you have any advice?
