i accually didnt pay anything for the car. it was my moms first car and it had been sitting at my grandpas house in virginia for the last 25 years, it only coast the gas money from virginia to vermont.
You want my honest opinion? It's a good parts car. You'll never get the rust fixed, it's always WORSE than you 1st think. I'd save up my money, and buy a shell from out west. They're pretty reasonable, but a project, but you won't be wasting your time fixing the CANCER!!!
And the engine will have to be rebuilt, and new pistons installed, because the '65 and up break all the time.
I'm working on the follow up, in the middle of a move, haven't had time to finish it, but it's on the way!
