A real gem of a game. Remember playing this as a kid all the time and it was only a few years back I learned about the continuing modding community. Shame I can't get it to work at all on Vista but on the plus side I still have the old Gateway I used to play it on.
my first PC was in 95, K5 100mhz, 16mb RAM, 1mb VGA. later on in 97 i upgreaded to K6-233mhz 128mb RAM(the top in that year !!!) and 4mb VGA.
i still remember that in those days, every game, run on every system... now-a-days, you need to have the top end PC to still DON'T RUN games with most quality features eneabled.
This one was the first released for PC, even though it was a CPU guzzler. I think back then nobody could play at a decent framerate with all details activated and at more than 640x480 shown here.
Oops, I forgot, there was a previous version for PC designed to run only under DOS and with sound from the system speaker. GP2 instead was the first designed to run under DOS or Windows 95
where to download this game ?

I love it! I just read a review on Gamespot of this game where they call its graphics are "near photo realistic" LOL

I've tried it but iirc something didn't work very well for me.
However I do have a Windows 2000 PC I've acquired although no CD drive. I'm hoping I can copy all the CD data onto the HDD and install that way :)
Thanks for the help though :)
