@ddrmetal Ive been following Apple ios for about 4 years now, ever since the first iPhone, I've bought the 1st gen ipod touch 16gb ($400) and got incredibly bored of it until I jailbroke it which showed me the accelerometer and its potential with games.

It broke, I bought the 2'nd gen iPod touch 8gb ($200) and was blown away at it's gaming abilities and was excited that it had bluetooth in it and apple released a software update enabling the bluetooth use.

There was one major dissapoint though

@ddrmetal and the problem was file transfer. I remember the old days of bluetoothing files between bluetooth enabled phones like the razr. Razrs back then could accept those little 2gb memory cards and I was able to convert music and movies into formats that phone would accept and I was able to transfer the files between my friends.

Apple failed to deliver on this area. The only files going in and out on the iphone is through iTunes.

I bought the iPod touch 3G and saw the cpu + gpu chips

@ddrmetal they put in there, I knew those chips were able of pulling xbox 360 graphics on the 480x320 screen they had. But it never happened. I waited a full year and the iPod touch 4G game out with a double screen resolution and my experience with the ipod touch 3g and the 2g was they were exactly the same and I wasted my money.

I got the iPod touch 4g and loved it but there was still something missing.

I received an android phone for free and was opened up to a whole world of difference.

@ddrmetal On android phone instantly I was able to download movies off the internet for free, and if my phone didn't natively support the file format, All I had to do was download a movie player, like on windows if windows media player doesn't support a format, u just download another player.

On iOS you can't do this. You have to download the movie on your computer, convert it to a h.264 mp4 format and sync it through itunes.

On my android phone I was able to bluetooth a movie (700mb file)

@ddrmetal right onto my sister's phone, Android OS is growing in the gaming market aswell, Gameloft, (apple's biggest gaming developer has migrated onto the Android OS platform and is releasing games for Android phones.)

When im on my android phone, it feels like I'm on something similar to windows, When im on my iPhone, it feels like i have so much hardware and potential in my hands, but it feels like being in jail when im on my ipod/ipad/iphone.
