I think the new visual elements are wonderful, and I love how kinetic the show is at times, with so many things happening at once, yet in harmony--sort of a symphony of sights. On the down side, I much prefer the original songs over the new ones, and this version lacks the tightness and tension of the other versions, for lack of a better way to describe it (mostly an issue of music and transitions). Overall, Disney did an excellent job of giving us something familiar yet new and fresh.

The music and the vocals that they have brought to this version are amazing and they should incorporate into the version's at WDW and DL. Both the shows would benefit from an upgrade!! Its a shame that they couldn't provide all the effects and stage presentation to such an amazing soundtrack at Disneysea. This truly is where disney thrive!!!!

@Blahblahblah14898 Well, I have to admit, the Disneyland one comes to a very close second. I'd even say they were tied. But, that's MY opinion. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Personally, I feel that the music in this one had a very magical feel to it. But, that's just me.

I love the technology, but I miss the "fight scene" like Pocahontas and Peter Pan. It was interesting, kind of, but I still love the Florida version the best. :)

I must say, as a die-hard fan of the original Disneyland version, this show definitely takes the cake at second place. The Florida version is laughable, but this version is just crazy amazing. While the original will always be the best, this version shows that change can be good. I definitely hated the Florida version in comparison.

Sorry for me the original is still the best which is the one at Disneyland, this one has it's moments but no action scene like Peter pan. And they use only the Sorcer Mickey instead of all of the Mickey's that were made. The first one was Disneyland then Walt Disney World asked for something similar. So the original is my favorite :D

I would like to see some of Disney Seas incorporated into the US parks. I think Americans would enjoy seeing something like this, and they do not go across the big pond to see that was made in the US to begin with.

Then they had so great scenery to use (the volcano), but they just put a screen hat too far away of the audience, sometimes the hat looks cool, but the water screens are wasted. Dont get me wrong, I really like some of the new things they have added (fire the volcano, sometimes the screens of the hat do very cool stuff, the use of some of the Sorcerers Apprentice music..), but I think those new things mixed with the originals would have done wonders.

Wheres the grand central piece for example (Peter Pan/Pocahontas action scene)? They could have made a new one from a new movie. And it has to be one of the worst mix of Disney characters I have seen in a show, sometimes they dont even mix well and the pace of it is all over the floor. One of the great things about the Orlando one is the use of many villians and their time to shine, this one cuts the number to the California one but it seems even samller (lol the Frollo music with Chernabog).

Im going to be critical, I didnt like it. They have butchered the original verisions. Its like theyve mixed bits here and there of Fantasmic and World of Color in a bland and uninteresting fashion. All the amazing great bits of the original have go out, the main theme has been nearly destroyed, and the music track isnt well mixed and has very abrupt changes. Also the effects some of the time dont even synch well (but that can be worked out with time).

I love Disney Sea, especially at Christmas & Halloween time! I'll miss BraviSEAmo!, though; it was my favorite show. :( So excited to be going for the fourth time, and to see Fantasmic! for the first time tomororow! :D

This video reminded me of how I like how Japanese audiences are usually quiet for stuff like this until the end.

I dunno... Obviously since it's a version of Fantasmic it's amazing, but I'm not real fond of the layout. I always thought the mountains at Disney World and Land were so grand and mysterious, but this is a screen. It's cool, font get me wrong, but I think I like the other stages better.

@miserymaniac1 I might be misunderstanding you, but the mountain is actually a relatively good size; The Journey to the Center of the Earth ride goes through the inside of it. Given the limited amount of space for such things (or indeed, everything) in Japan that explains the size of the park. However, that's why I always just go to Disney Sea & not Disney Land in Japan, for the novelty of the nautical theme. If I want to go to the Magic Kingdom, etc. I'd much rather do it in Florida. :)

Great video -- I was surprised that the music transitions in places seem rather abrupt, and the timing of the effects isn't as clean as the stateside versions. While technically, this is the better show, for the pure showmanship of it, I think the stateside versions still have the edge.

The only reason I would go to Japan is to go to the cove to TRY to help the dolphins and whales they kill for food. Even 10 days after the earthquake they were killing pilot whales there after promising not to.

If you put in the youtube search dolphin jumps from pen even the dolphin can't stand to be in small pens. Sad.
