I think more likely an educated prediction. I don't belive he knows people who are able to decide wars and the price of oil though. I think he just understands investment trends well.

I think he believes that by telling people he has inside information from the "elite" that it makes his story sound much more exciting. There is no way of knowing whether what he says is true or not. I mean, I predicted oil would fall when it was $150 and that it would now rise due to inflation. I'm just saying that he could be a smart investor/predictor and uses the "elite" story to sell his products. It's entertaining all the same whether its true or not. Thanks

@GypsyHustled: Well, this is my take. He uses the "hearing voices" technique because he knows little of economics. He is into sales. He is like the guy who is being run out of town....then rushes to the front of the mob and acts like he is at the forefront of the movement. @GypsyHustled yea that elite thing sounded a little sketchy, same with the 2012 thing. the whole "get into gold" thing has been going on for a few years now but i think the only way to test these things is to have more specific timelines. the elites know the market, i think they can be a little less vague than 2012. according to this guy and some others, the end of western society is in roughly 13 months and they will have a lot of explaining to do when it doesnt happen
