I got to see him a lot more than that. I think I've seen him in concert at least 6 times. I too wish he was still alive...what a pure voice and wonderful talent. That is Steve Martin in the background. He's also a great talent, and one of my favorites even today. The so called stars of today can't hold a candle to people then...they sing tinny songs out of tinny voices. So glad I was young back then and had the real thing...RIP my love, John.

I can't think of anyone that can even compare to John Denver today. I have found myself listening to JD more and more because his music is so optimistic and positive. It makes me feel good and I need it after watching the news. Kids today are stuck in this dark world of doom and gloom and the music is so violent with suicidal overtones. Its sad. Not to mention that Christmas itself will be outlawed soon. O.K. time to put on JD's greatest hits.

I love this video of John singing Silent Night, and Annie holding the bottle for Zach and singing also. John looks so lovingly at his family. What a beautiful picture....so much love at the time. I believe that is the only video I have seen with Annie in the audience. What a great video. Great bctvguy......thank you. Boy, how I miss JD. I love his music; always have since I heard that first record on the radio in the early 70's.
