  • Based on reference from PRESIDENT'S SECRETARIAT,Secretary (P) under intimation to me was to take action on Mr Behuria, Chairman IndianOil continuing to cause loss of Rs 99000 per month till 2014. I had therefore in 48thAGM put Mr Sundareshan Addl Sec on notice to lodge complaint u/s 409 IPC in Patiala House Courts against Mr S Behuria. When I asked him in 49th AGM about the action taken, Neither he nor Mr Behuria replied. Interestingly minutes of both AGM also do not have replies to my questions

  • Chairman Indian Oil Corporation should show transparency in working and arrange video recording during AGMs and EGMs. No shareholder should be prohibited from taking photo or video during AGMs or EGMs of IOC.

  • During TCS AGM Shri Ratan Tata Chairman himself invited every shareholder speaker personally and also replied, himself remaining standing, indivitual shareholder speaker including me.

  • I, Babubhai Vaghela, had the pleasure of attending AGM of TCS at Mumbai on 1st July 2008 in which the proceeding was fully recorded. I also took snaps and video recorded using my Mobile. No one OBJECTED.

  • Mr. Khare and Mr. Gwalani should be deputed to such meetings. Babubhai why not split TCS shares and send both of them as your proxies. Otherwise they may not be allowed to attend the meeting unless they are shareholders of TCS. You can't have gatecrashers disrupting shareholder's meeting like we experienced in IOC AGM under review. Long live Corruption is the mantra of Public Sector, Government etc. Otherwise we would have improved our Transparency International rating. Jai Jai PSU Corruption.

  • The placing of this video clipping on YOUTUBE and its circulation among shareholders had a telling effect. Not only the management had to cut a sorry figure for its misadventure, but also it refrained from repeating the same mistake during the recently concluded IOC-BRPL Amalgamation meeting of shareholders on 22nd February 2008. However, some misguided officers of the company tried to snatch the mobile of Mr. Babubhai Vaghela when he wanted to record the proceedings. Navratna?? You decide.

  • It is really shocking to watch that such things happen in the AGM of Indian Oil. Being an investment consultant, I would never recommend my clients to go for IOC shares. In any case the company has consistently under performed BSE Index for the past 3-4 years. No wonder! Hats off to the Gentleman who made the video and exposed the Management.

  • M Venkat Rao, who is seen shouting in video, informed Sarthak Behuria Chairman Indian Oil during the AGM about unprecedented increase in chargesheets to officers and high level of fear psychosis among them. Behuria did not respond at all to it.

  • Most Chargesheet are an eyewash. The officers involved in Gujarat HSD Scam were issued Charge Sheet after 5 years of discovery of the Scam. No Punishment yet. The very top management is involved in protecting the guilty, for obvious reasons.

  • In 2004 I was denied leave so that I could not attend 45th AGM. I wanted to expose corruption in the light of adverse comments by CAG wrt Duncan Industries and SRAACL. I was aghast to see the conduct of the Chairman and the Board of Directors in allowing Mr. Venkatrao to compel the speakers as per his formulations. The video is brief as Vaghela was threatened by Mr. Khare. The company, if it is clean, then must put the entire video footage in public domain.

  • I was threatened while taking Video Mr SK Khare Chief Manager snatched mike from me while I was making presentation to Directors on Violation of Right to Equality and Killing Aspirations of Weaker Section to go up hierarchy Mr VC Agarwal Director HR and other Directors should have hanged their heads in shame. Data at page 77 Indian Oil Annual Report for 2006 07

  • I thank Mr. Vaghela for taking the trouble of making the video clip in the face of hostile environment in the meeting hall against the dissenters created by Mr. Behuria and his cronies.

  • The incident is a corporate shame, and coming from a Public Sector Company, it is more depressing.

In a Democratic society we must learn to live with differences of opinion. No one, can decide what the others should speak. If someone voilates the law or the decorum there are adequate provisions to take care of it.
