I managed to find a standard system on eBay from a bike that had been down the road, the end can was stuffed but the downpipes were fine, paid about £25 for it and just cut the end can off!
same - i have the full system on a 2007 model and dont want to chop the one off. was thinking of second hand system of an earlier model (bout £30) chopping the can off and just using the downpipes. could get the downpipes ceramic or nickel plated to increase the corrosion resistance mind.
Hey mate i have an er 500 now and have seen an arrow exhaust can but was wondering where you get the down pipes from because it currently has the standard one piece exhaust. surely you just dont cut them?:P
yeah i know it's an er5 but there are a lot of models in it...so i just wanted to know the correct one because i have the same bike like this and i don't know the year of it lol...
if you get a can with a 60m inlet then itll slip straight on! that can was a 59mm inlet, so (as you can just about see in the vid) ive had to use a piece of 60mm stainless pipe to join the two together!
Those are renthal bars not the standard ones

Its just the silencer...
Did some research, for all interested, the can is the 'micron beta' however you may notice ive had to use a custom piece of pipe to join it!

is it 60mm fitting on the exhaust is it? i have found a micron silencer with a 60mm! what else did you have to do?

Thanks, Got it from ebay, just searched exhaust 60mm and a fair few popped up! cost me about £75 delivered if i remember right!
