  • Nice workout, I don't understand when you wrote if the weight is too much, I don't believe form should ever be sacrificed.

    And to the people complaining about hurting your wrists, they wont if you strengthen them before this workout, little by little with wrist push ups or something.

  • Nice video. I had experimented with these a few years ago, but I stopped, though I d not recall why. I started out with light weights, seeking to minimize wrist strzain due to the impact of hand and bell to ground.

  • I don't think this is a smart workout imo. Too much risk of damaging your wrists. You can get the same results with a separate workout for each muscle group worked here.

    Just because you can do it, doesn't mean it's smart to do.

  • Actual working in isolation would not give you nearly the functional benefits of this kind of calisthenic training. This involves dynamic movement, core stability/coordination, cardio and more. Wrist injuries could be minimized by working up to this through simplified workouts and keeping hand intensive exorcises at a minimum for a few days after a workout. I think it rocks!

  • @ManOfMeans just because you can do seperate exercises to isolate specific muscle groups, it doesn't mean you should. Doing back flips has a potential to injure you. Doesn't mean you should never try a back flip. Risk is good.
