HOW TO FIX BOOT LOOP ON BLACKBERRY

@rydgemolino Wipe the OS on the Blackberry and then load one on the phone again using BBSAK.

@andie20ph JVM error 102 is a Invalid code in file system.The system checked the COD files in the device for modification and determined that a problem exists with one or more COD files. To fix this just reflash the OS.

on the very first step, i didnt get the USB: PIN UNKNOWN. But instead, it detects my BB PIN by itself.

when it loading all the data and applications, do you at any time put the battery back in? or do you wait till everything is done then put the battery back in?

I am having the same boot loop problem, except the spp loader wont recognize the device..it keep saying connect a device even when its plugged in! YET my computer recognizes the device ..PLEASE HELP if u have delt with this type of situation like this or kno how to fix it...

the problem i have with mine is when i start the process, because it keeps rebooting it doesnt finish it and i keep geting an error that its trying to connect to JVM

@aimeebabehx No I would wipe the OS (507 error) and reinstall the OS. This will erase all your content on the phone.

my Blackberry8520 either keeps connecting to JVL Or goes to the next screen and shows my device doesnt have Application software and 'next' option is disabled

@pugetsoundelectronic my phone is a storm 9530, it has the boot loop but when the application is erased an then application is finish loading the phone does not initialize, the process fails after that.

shud this be able to wor on my phone?

@poormafiaprince Yes this can work on your phone I have repaired storms with Boot loops with this method. It is very critical to catch the phone on the first boot. In some case's you keep the battery out until phone is recognized and then insert battery.

Hi, I tried this method with two different phones however it goes through the process up to 'reboot' and the I get an error saying it can't connect during a multiload operation". The phone continues it's infinite loop of connecting and disconnecting from the computer. I have also tried JL_CMDER to try and wipe the devices but the computer gets a comm port error. Any suggestions??

hello mate....my phone got a boot loop.... and i tried doing what u did above.. but when it comes to connection port selection the loader doesnt recognize my phone...

i dont get anything on connection.. it just shows blank. not even com1 or anything.... could you help???

@spearheads2007 You have to remove the battery from your Blackberry. Start the Loader application. While you are on the Communication port selection connect your phone to the computer with battery removed select next as soon as your phone is recognized insert battery. It may take a few times to do this but it works. We have revived multiple "Red light of death Blackberry's". If yo have any more questions or need tips please let us know. yeah.. same here i could only get the "USB then my pin" i cannot get the "USB UNKNOWN" message..

any idea how to do that?

@surao827 You do not need the USB Unknown to come up when the computer recognizes the Blackberry. If the USB and Blackberry pin comes up continue with steps. If anymore problems arise I will be more then happy to assist you.

i have such a problem with my curve 8520. It was happened when i do hard reset (pulled out my battery) and it goes stuck when booting. When i try your demonstration here, the loader recognized my PIN (it won't show the PIN: UNKNOWN part) so i thought, i can't reinstall the OS. It get me frustrated. Please help.. Thanks..

PS: i t was twice in probably 6 month since i bought it. The last time it happened, it goes back by it self, after i pulled out the battery, sim card and mmc for a day.

mine isnt working. when i click the next button it reads it but then the blackberry shuts off or something then it goes to a screen that says "the blackberry desktop software does not have blackberry device software for the device you connected to the computer"

@thechickenadobosogoo You will have to keep doing it until you catch it on the Boost screen and can load the OS.
