If the Shias (i.e followeres) of Ali (Amir al Mu'umineen) are fooling themselves, then how come Hezbullah in Lebanon have always been victorious (walhamdulillah)? Haven't they been fighting in the name of Allah and Muhammad and Ali and Hassan and Hussein of whom the Prophet says are the leaders of the Youth of Janna)? If they were wrong, then how come they are beating Israel? Only people left fighting.....Hammas and Hezbullah. Everyone else is sleeping or conspiring. Remember the Hadees.

Hizbullah= Iran's puppet, if they were for real then why they didnt attack israel with even 1 bullet when Gaza was in flames? the persians want their glory back so they hide behind Islam to achieve their agenda. you say we follow prophet Muhammed & you never follow his sunna & you celebrate the day Omar Ibn Al Khattab's death & glorify his killer & call the sahaba & Aisha names i can't mention. & your sheik Ali Al Korani says Ali will conduct judgment day with Allah astagferullah thats SHIRK!

Don't let anyone brainwash you about Shias my brothers. We follow the true Muhammadi Hanifi Islam, and we're not alliens from outer space. The Rasul himself said that at the end of times, there would only remain a few men from my Ummah who follow the true path of Islam and who would fight for Islam. And when he was asked who, he replied: They would be located in Masjid Al-Aqsa and the surroundings of Masjid al- Aqsa. Look at our situation today, who in the whole islamic world are left fighting?

Didn't Prophet Issa (AS) say to his followers that there is a well that hidden in the deserts of Makka containing water from Janna (paradise), and which can only be opened by a Prophet or a Prophet's progeny?! And who found that well, and who opened it? Read the true and unbiased Islamic history. An old christian soldier positioned in the desert whitnessed as Imam Ali found the well and opened it thus providing water to the muslim army. knowing what Jesus had said, the man converted to Islam.

When the Christian Scholars were arguing with Muhammad (SAAWS) over his status as a messenger of Allah, and when they were not convinced, and the Prophet (ASWS) called them into a challenge the next day, that they may curse him and he them, to see who would be answered and who not, who did Muhammad (SAAWS) bring to the challenge with him as a proof of his seriousness? And then what happened to those scholars?

Who was the first person to embrace islam after the Rasul, and who was never a pagan at any point in his life? Who was the hero of Badr, and who broke the garrison's of Khaibar and slayed the jewish general? In the battle of Uhud in which the muslims lost and were fleeing, didn't the Rasul say: there is no sword but Zulfikar and no man but Ali? Listen and read Rasulullah's (SAWS) speech in the Ghadeer desert, when he said of Ali: Allahumma wali man walah wa Adi man Adah

Mu'awiya was hungry for power over Sham (i.e. Syria, Lebanon, Palestine) and wanted to establish a separate caliphate in that region. He waged war on Ali (AS) and even when a settlement was agreed on by Imam Ali denying himself the caliphate in order to prevent fitna, Mu'awiya broke the truth by making Omar ibn Al-As appoint him as caliphate in a cunning backstabbing trick, which made some of the allies of Ali turn against him, and in the end, he was killed while praying by the person he raised.

I really don't understand all this hate for Shias. How can you justify that? Imam Ali was from Ahlu al bayt (i.e the Prophet's bloodline, whom surat Al-Tatheer was sent down on). He served under all his elderly Caliphat predecessors, and only when it came down to his turn, did the Wahabi clan headed by Mu'awiya ibn abi Sufyan betray him and deny him his rights! And what the Sheikh is saying in his lecture was true at that time. Mu'awiya was a drunkard and did not know or live the true Islam.

I was listening with attention to all this interesting lecture by the sheikh.......really informative history. But when he says "if the Shias think that the Mahdi is from them, then they live in a fairy land", then I was totally dissapointed in him, especially that he confirms according to Bukhari that the Mahdi is a decendant from the Prophet (PBUH) through his daughter Fatima (AS). And the only person who was married to Fatima was Imam Ali (AS). So Shia in arabic only means 'followers of Ali.
