  • This is fucking insane.... really this is like some out of this world Jeffery Dahmer shit. Only the creepiness falls in the hands of the state. just unreal.. I cant believe this.

  • Appalling

  • Should have handed the cops a print out of the first ammendment.

if they were disruptive and shouting, sure remove them, but sitting there silently with signs harms no one; except the people who cant handle differing opinions than their own..

  • This makes me sick to my stomach. What has happened to my country? I do not recognize it. This is fascism. That banging sound you hear from Occupy Wall St. is for good reason. We can't stop until we slam this country back to where it belongs, no matter how long it takes. Enough!

  • To the person who said "when the f*** is america going to fight back???"

The answer is NOW!! That's what we're about!

keslehrongo said "land of the free no more"

You're right there! We are oppressed and turning into a third world country! Have you seen the protests THEY have??

You also said "You can almost see Gov. Walker reading "Mein Kampf" in the background. He has to get his ideas somewhere. Certainly wasn't the founding fathers. -

The Repubs are not in control either - ALEC is!!!

  • Civil war seems to be the only answer left.

  • Wisconsin is the new Texas. Sorry, but the mentality in that state disgusts me - I am a freelancer and have worked for a Milwaukee based company (in the arts, no less) and they are truly automatons and about as phony as the Stepford robots that work at Chic-Fil-A. That state legislature is over run by fascists and they are inherently NON-American

  • America fear mongers about fake communism & ignore real fascism. These arrests are disgraceful.

  • Call this number (Sergeant of Arms) and ask who gave the go ahead to escort and detain and/or arrest these folks: 608-266-3387. This is the number to the Assembly office--where these detainments supposedly occurred. I think it would also be helpful to know the woman who was reading the woman's shirt--I assume to make sure it conformed with her version of the Federal and State Constitutional Right of Expression/Speech. WTF PEOPLE?! WE SHOULD BE SCARED!

  • @williejenkins666 Funny. The only violence that has occurred in these protests was committed by three teabaggers, led by a former WI State Senator, who attacked a group of singers. The attack was caught on video. But we are in the Assembly upholding our Constitutional rights-- freedom to petition and monitor our elected officials. This is non-partisan. If any conservatives joined us, they would be welcome. If Dems tried to kick them out, we would fight the Dems.

  • Thanks for sharing!

  • The cops should not crack any skulls unless someone is trying to crack theirs. I DON'T agree with the protesters, but they are not being disruptive. But it seems like the Police broke their oath to protect and uphold the constitution. So, would it be fair to call these police Oath Breakers?

  • Its truly amazing to me that some people are just now waking up to the reality that USA has totally & completely become a POLICE STATE, and that everyone in USA is now treated as guilty until proven innocent. The corporate owned mainstream media has made all the dumbed down brain dead masses cower in fear that "terrorist" are everywhere trying to kill us. Dont you people get it yet?? 911 was all a lie, a FALSE FLAG event, there is no bogeyman in the desert, our govt and CIA is the TERRORIST!!

  • Yellow shirt guy looks like a coke-head.

  • I am not a democrat, I am not a republican. I am a former resident of WI for 21 years. It doesn't matter what party you belong to, these police actions violate the Constitution of the United States. So the real question is, what are the penalties for law enforcement agencies/officers who willingly aid in violating the Constitution?

  • this is sad and disgusting to watch, props to the Dems who stood up and defended the people who were filming.

  • FASCISM

  • This country is bankrupt. finnacially, spiritually and morally

  • Frederick Kessler, Terese Berceau, Mark Pocan thank you for speaking out against the unconstitutional police actions.

  • And surprise, we have the Wisconsin State Patrol acting as a goon squad. Once we get rid of Walker, one of the first steps has to be dissolving the Wisconsin State Patrol. Prior to this, they sat on their fat asses manning speed traps on the Interstate; and now they spend their time and our money manhandling law abiding citizens in the Capitol. Fuck these ticket-writing chickenhsit goons

  • What's REALLY funny is this video is listed beneath a video about shutting down FOX News. And of course, all of you DUers whining about this are cheering for FOX to be shutdown. Idiots.

  • @fiestavee I am curious where does fox news get it's funding from. Even popular TV shows like American Idol will eventually run it's course. How is it that news organizations keep on going.

  • @smokescreen767 FOX News has the largest audience of any cable news channel, but what people forget is that the total cable news audience is very small: the combined prime time viewership of all cable news channels is about 5 million. Any prime time network show that attracted only 5 million viewers would be cancelled. The most popular show on FOX news is watched by about 1% of the US population.

  • If you PAY to have your message delivered for you by your corporate lobbyist, then the message is okay.

  • We'll tell you what kind of democracy you'll have… and your rights don't apply here. Sound familiar? It sounds to me like the Rethugs have taken their foreign policy and applied it back home.

  • 2 people so far know that they will have to help themselves in a free America. Shame on you.

  • This country is changing for the worst

  • Republicans praised the tea party members that yelled and screamed at town halls saying they are just expressing the rights. these ppl are doing it quietly about them and they have them taken out. and in town halls they change the location to a place that they can charge entrance fees just to see your Rep.

  • Fuckers are only feeding the flames. We are finally coming around as a citizenship and realizing that our government is no longer an arm of 'we the people' but of 'the elite'. The rich have overplayed their hand and the GOP doesn't know it yet but they are about to reap ire for what they have sowed.

  • you are not longer free nor have you been since we adopted fake currency from the federal reserve and world bank while they hoard all the gold and silver,

  • If they were Tea Party Terrorists they'd have a front row seat.

  • Democrats: Cleaning up Republican Messes Since 1933.

  • Time to sue the state.

  • Woman in gallery at 4:19 with "SHAME" written on her arm -- free speech says it all.

  • Very Scary!

  • The State Reps who oppose the cops removing people for simply wearing an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper around their neck expressing their opinions should also start wearing the same signs around their necks during sessions and see if they are removed by the cops as well.

America is dying. Land of the Police State!

  • The police and the people who are ordering them to remove the people with signs are in breach of the constitution and should be dealt with accordingly.

  • The First amendment gives people the right to speak out. Hate groups take full advantage of this fact without the fear of reprisal. Why can these people not do the same?

  • @slack3rdude "Republicans in Wisconsin have been threatened with their life by teachers unions..." This is a lie. A handful of GOP have received threats, but these have not come from teachers' unions or any other "group," any more than the threats the Dems have received. The only violence that has occurred in the capitol has been carried out by the cops, and occasionally by teabagging thugs.

  • The world is watching America. Congratz on becomming the new Nazi Germany where immigrants are the new jews and the Republicans are the new nazis.

  • The woman who talked about fear had it right. The Republican Party is an authoritarian party, and authoritarianism is rooted in fear. Their ideology is rooted in fear, and they use fear to gain and hold power. Fear is antithetical to democracy -- but that clearly doesn't mean much to the Republicans.

  • @TheronC2 exactly - but it is one of the principle rhetorical devices used by both parties. Fear mobilizes voters. I praise the gallery for exercising courage as well as their right to free speech.

  • Since when can't Americans peacefully assemble?!?!? Why are the police or whom ever is responsible not in jail for an egregious violation of our rights as Americans guaranteed by the Constitution.

WTF is going on? This is truly a God given right to free speech. Money is not free speech but free speech is. Corporations are not people...people are people.

Support all forms of Occupy Wall Street now and until we win.

  • when the fuck is america going to fight back???

  • land of the free no more

  • You can almost see Gov. Walker reading "Mein Kampf" in the background. He has to get his ideas somewhere. Certainly wasn't the founding fathers.

  • That Democratic woman speaker from the floor of the session asked the ultimate question: what are those Republicans afraid of?

  • Fuck Walker!!!!!!!

  • what country is this? looks terribly oppressive.

  • I wonder how many Police are sent to crime scenes where weapons and violence are present if they need 10 officers to subdue quiet, sitting, citizens.

  • its called repulicon america. these piece of shits ran there bitch asses to washington to complain about losing "their" country but are sending this piece of shit ass country to the hell hole it belong in freefall . way to do your father the devil work. you do him proud.

they call themselves christians but are so far from it. but the good news is this theres a scripture in the bible that says the wealth of the wicked is stored up for the righteous...

horde it all.. we will party

  • Thanks for sharing this footage. The behavior of the WI GOP is beyond rediculous, it's in blatant disregard of the Bill of Rights. RECALL WALKER and end this reign of abuse.

  • And Tea Partiers get upset when we compare Walker to Hitler???

  • They live in fear because they know we know how crooked they are and WE ARE PISSED. WE, however, have remained PEACEFUL unlike the rent-a-cops on a control high by bashing up protestors practicing their 1st amendment RIGHTS!

RIGHTS! Many people have forgotten what those are so WAKE UP!

Pay attention! Be aware!! and take back your rights!

  • Inspiring. Keep it up Wisconsin!

  • @4:16+ If the Democrat Assemblymen want to do something to get back at the Republicans, make it illegal to chew gum on the floor of the State Legislature. Good Lord, they were all chomping on the stuff like it was some kind of schoolyard playground.

  • this crap has to stop.Greedy ol pricks on wall st. are rapping americans everyday.10 pink slips for the police in the video is where I'd start. free speach is our right. I see a lawsuit comming.publish the names of the worthless asses on f.b &twitter

  • That's my cousin at 0:26. She lives in Madison, and she's probably the most dedicated protester I know. She's AWESOME (:

  • What happened to our freedoms? The GOP has helped themselves to taking them away, why are they not being arrested.

  • It’s annoying when people like Sarah Palin make up a word like “squirmish” and call it a celebration of free speech. Making up a word has little to do with free speech. The First Amendment is designed to allow citizens to petition their government without fear of censorship or abatement. So when someone like Sarah Palin improperly invokes the First Amendment, it really detracts from the true purpose. What you see here is government censorship, plain and simple, and it should not be abided.

  • Shame on you all.

  • Perhaps there will come a day when Walker is dragged out of a drainage pipe and..... Just sayin'

  • Thanks for being there, filming this, and uploading it. The whole world is watching. For starters, the people who were removed should sue.

  • @TheMattKearney Man, you're a fucking idiot. Sue? For what, you just heard these people say how they are having budget problems then you want to hit the taxpayers with a lawsuit? If the officers were wrong discipline them for sure but all of you need to get this rediculous idea out of your head that lawsuits are some magic lottery, you stick it to your fellow taxpayers and the officers get off scott free, but hey, you get a payday right so who cares who it hurts.

  • What's more dangerous in Wisconsin governmental buildings - guns or pieces of paper? Come on, GOP, don't you realize how silly you look when you're afraid of DEMOCRACY?

  • No jobs, but the real moneymaker seems to be in fines...... and at what point does a "special session" become just another way to get the Republican ALEC agenda advanced??

  • Good on em! These guys are finally seeing how unfairly the people are being treated by the police and its giving occupy wall street sympathy and probably votes, keep it up fellas!
