was wondering if if u had to adjust the fork tubes to fit the bars, looking to get the keystones for my bike but was told they wouldnt fit unless u raise the tripple tree.... hope to hear your input so i can make my decision. appreciate it
Could you post a link to the z bars you put on Cant seem to find the "Capitol z bars" on lowbrow just got my 48 trying to take some of your ideas to my bike
Great bike! Just wondering what you used to insulate the wiring under the tank from engine heat. I imagine that all of that plastic that you removed also served as a heat shield for the wires. Love the idea, just wanna protect my wires too! Appreciate your input....
Did you have any problems with your biltwell bars running into the top caps on your forks when installing them? Did you have to do any adjustment to the fork to get the bars to fit? nice bike.
@Mr79Sanchez Gee Wizz he doesn't need a custom Harley to get noticed! All thoses ugly tattoes would get him a job in a freak show. Thirty years from now, i would like to hear him explain to his grandchildren why his body
Love the bars. i have the same bike. i found a pair on a forum but they 7/8 inch in diameter not 1 inch do you think i could make them work? and what would i have to do?
@leestratton1 im not finished yet just because im doing a few custom fabrication pieces for my switches. but i have run all the wiring a few times through bars... its not super hard but you should know what you are doing and have the correct tools or youll hate life for a few hours
Thanks man! I rented a 48 on Friday and LOVED it! I plan to get rid of the thruxton in favor of the 48. Saw your Ducati vid too...great collection of bikes man!
Love the work you do with your bikes brotha. Are those Biltwell Keystone bars? What size tank lift did you use? I've got a 48 and I'm about to lift the tank and I'm digg'n the lines of the bike with your lift kit and bars. Hope to hear back from you bro!
Awesome bike man! I currently ride a Triumph Thruxton and I'm thinking about the 48 and the mods you've done are exactly what I'm looking at doing. Thanks dude! Can't wait to see the next video!
@jmc1ace thruxton is an awesome bike. we will have a couple videos soon of some triumph stuff we have going on. i love the cafe look i also have a ducati similar to the thruxton. love it!
Sweet bro. The Z bars give it a cool vintage vibe. Your setting it up like its sposta be. When ya get the Jockey set up make a vid with you riding it. It will take a couple miles, but you'll get the hang of it quick. Next time I go to ILL I will have to hit ya up for some new ink. Ha..Diggin the scoot!

you cant use risers with the 48 cause the stock risers are built into the top tree.
