As beautiful and complex as the ideas about God and spirituality expressed in all of Anne's books are, I attribute my lack of faith to having read The Vampire Chronicles when I was younger.
It was really sad when Anne Rice turned all her vampires Catholics. The first three books was really great because here were immortal vampires and even with all their centuries and experience with the supernatural they were even more confused about spirituality then we were. It rang very true.
Twilight is a good series for the target audience, who would not ideally understand Anne Rice's writings. The target audience of twilight was confused adults and tweens who exist with their text messages and pop music. Anne Rice introduces subject matter that would make Twilight wince at its core and with a gentler hand. The Anne Rice novels prosper in intellectual measures that are lost to people who post such mindless drivel as 'How R U? I M Gud. I rd bks.' Anne Rice is the reason I ever wrote
I think we are all looking for God in one form or another. I beleive there is no such thing as Damnation, as long as we beleive in God and seek his love we will find him. Thank you for writing this book...I bought it a few years ago, but lost it sadly to a rainstorm, please keep writting. And keep your faith.
I didn't get burned by the sun , but like Armand I saw things differently , I saw life different , I saw religion and spirituality different then I used to do , things were sifferent in a good way . It's been 4 years since then , and my love for vampires is still as big as at the beginning so as my admiration and respect for Mrs Rice's books and my faith is now an important part in my life.Nothing could take that away
I was 13 when I first red "The vampire Armand". I remember it was a really boring summer day , and I had nothing to do that day , my frinds were out of town and my parents were at work , so I went to the library to waste my time there. I stumbled over the book and wanted to ignore it , thinking that it's just some silly teenage story . I red a few pages and it made me even more curious so I took it with me. I could honestly say that since that day I changed , a lot .
@misterdanton Blood and Gold is my favorite as well. It makes me laugh as she through the character Marius goes over her past books and in those past events. Marius has lived for 2000 years, and told so many lies to himself. Yet, in the end he beleives in love.
Anne is a visionary, a true artist. Through all of her work in life she might have been as close to the Source as possible without really realising it. Because of her honesty to herself and to the visions that have been flowing through her heart and into this world. She shows humility, beauty, love and struggles which are all essential to our humanity. It could be that in the weakness of our flesh and in the light of our soul is where we find our true selves and with that our Maker:)

I wish the movie ''Queen of the damned'' would have had the same characters as ''interview wit the vampire'' As you can see Lestat and armand are the same individuals from the books of ann rice, but when you watch the two movies, you can't tell at all because of the chracters play by much different actors. But it tells basically the story.
I've always been unhappy about the fact that the Armand in Interview with the Vampire (the movie) looks completely different although he bahaves the way he's supposed to. I didnt even realize at first who he should be. That's so sad, I mean, what does a tall man with black hair do, playing a small, 17-year old-looking boy with lighter brown hair?
@Kadda1234 Yeah I know auburn is brown ( with a reddish tone) but his was a darker auburn not a lighter thats all I'm saying. There is a big difference between lighter auburn and darker auburn and even bigger difference between the auburns and light brown.
Anne Rice is amazing, I love to read her work, and she is one of the people who has inspired me to become a writer. If you need a hero, Anne is a wonderful one.
cant belive how ppl pay attention to all this sci fiction shit. one thing is write an script for a movie another completly thing is write tons of books about something that has been proved its not even real vampirism is based on medieval rumors and superstitions by ignorant peasans. read agatha christie instead best-selling author of all time
comparing "twilight" from the anna rice's "the vampire chronicle" is like comparing the jonas brothers to Metallica...
Vampire chronicles rock.. twilight vampires doesn't even have fangs to begin w/, they are sparkling vampires that acts like a frustrated teenager, now that is so.. stupid...
anna rice's novel is a master piece, if i see an anna rice's vampire, i've piss my pants and freak out..
Armand and Louis are easily my most favorite of the chronicles, and i was sad when i thought Armand met the sun at the end of Memnoch the Devil, until i found out in the book jacket that Armand was to have his own chronicle. i can honestly say The Vampire Armand is my most favorite of Rice's novels so far, which i couldn't think possible after reading the first three. Keep on writing, Anne, and i shall read it.
I completely agree. Armand and Louis were my favorites as well. Of course I love Lestat, but that's inevitable. When I started reading The Vampire Armand I didn't think it would be possible to love it as much as the others, or feel a real connection to his character. He took me by surprise. I'm just sad that the story is forever ended and the Chronicles will not go on anymore. =[
I LOOOVVEEE Anne Rice, I also read the Twilight saga and although I did enjoy them to some degree I dont think I would read them again, lol Bella always got on my nerves. Anne Rice you can read over and over again. the worlds that she creates are so distant and yet so close home. absolutely amazing!
@MrJizmonkey As for a person like me, I have to read the books slowly, like that I'll be able to capture the story well and carefully understand it. I don't do that with any other books, only with her books. But she's truly an amazing and aspiring writer.
ok so now I just think that some freaky religious something possessed her or that this new Anne is an IMPOSTER. Why after 38 years do u get so crazy religious? Did some major life event change her to search for something that all of us look for or ??? I dont know>I just do not understand. Proof?
Ya know, I keep seeing you diss Anne on so many videos, and I'm beginning to wonder, if you hate her so much then why do you keep watching her videos?
Instead of waisting vast amounts of time commenting on every video you find, just stop and don't watch them. No one wants to here it.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
I don't watch, i bash. For all i know these videos contain nothing but hardcore gay porn.. and knowing Rice fans, i wouldn't be surprised. This doesn't require me to "waste vast amounts of time commenting on every video (i) find", just a few minutes every now and then. But those few minutes sow very valuable seeds, and my hobby is reaping the crops. Vampires ARE completely retarded, and the people who obses about them (enough to go out and youtube videos about them) are greasy little pussies.
I would have to agree. Twilight is a saga that deals with adolescent vampires, but the vampires in Anne Rice's novels are actually incidental to an idea that she is trying to convey very subtly. Concepts of existentialism, redemption, philosophy combined with Rice's encyclopaedic knowledge of history and gift for prose just make better novels. They are critically acclaimed with good reason, Twilight is American Pie with fangs.
@xburningheavensx Hey I was just stating the obvious. How the hell can you call them Vampires if they have no fangs and don't turn to ash in the sun? They're living statues that drink blood. That is it...not a Twilight fan so please do not label me as such. Anne Rice's Vampires are what I consider Vampires. Charlaine Harris' as well. So maybe you should be the one to "grow up"
I am so thankful that you are here on this planet with us at this time. I feel so fortunate to be able to watch you and your intelligence grow and bloom, not as a single rose, but as the rose bush. You have so much intellect that caresses everyone's lost and weary souls, and I know that watching you, read this gives me a peace, a stillness, to a broken boy who has grown into a man, lost and tattered and finding and claiming that which was lost, just as I see the evolution of the characters
what i don't get is how lestat was able to beat armand when armand was made by one of the most powerful vampires, and lestat was made by a 300 year old vampire. it didn't make sense
If ANYONE wants to read a book about real Vampires just send me ur email address and ill send u " The Eternal Blood Vampires"(LEAKED) no questions asked.( And remember u didn't it from me.)
no...... it explicitly states that magnus was 300 years old in the blood. It was his first fledging which would have made would have made him stronger than average.
But marius didn't make a fledging either and he was almost 1600 years old and had been drinking akashas blood. Marius also said he tried to make armand as strong as possible.
he should have torn lestat a new asshole. he was 300 years older, and he lestat was brand new.
Lestat is bitten by the rogue elder vampire Magnus who orphans him on the night he is made. Then Marius taught him much about the origins of the vampire species and Marius's own past.
i love you so much anne rice. you gave the world my favorite vampire, and the best fictional (though i believe he's quite real) character, The Vampire Armand. Armand is the best and most mysterious of al of Anne Rice's vampires. i actually got depressed when i found out from Memnoch the Devil that Armand surrendered himself into the sun. i was so depressed that i didn't go out of my room and din't speak to anyone for almost 2 days! good thing a close friend told me that Armand didn't really die.
are you fucking serious? are you in actuality out ofyour insnae mind, or are you just a little girl? if your a child, shame on your parents, if youre grown, shame on your parents even MORE! this is a self proclaimed lie, science fiction. no more real than ron l hubbard's religion.
do you think there's something wrong with getting obsessed ith a fictional character? i don't think so. if you would see Armand from my point of view, you would understand why i am so obsessed with this vampire.
I loved all the Books Anne Rice has written; a friend gave me the book , The body thief & I was hooked, You are truly taken on a journey of discovery ,with each of stories in the vampire chronicles I am currently reading Christ the Lord, can anyone tell me which one was written firsts Christ the Lord out of Egypt or Christ the Lord the Road to Cana
You know, I've bought exactly three copies of this book and I've lost them ALL. I've no idea where they vanish off too but clearly the fact that I buy a new one every couple of years is a testament to the greatness of this book.
I'll go on the Barnes and Noble website, :) I've been looking for some time to read the books... maybe now I can.. hmm.. I'll message you back when I get to reading. :) I sure enjoyed this video.
They say that books are always better then the movie, there couldnt be any more truth to that statement as with Anne's works- movies can not capture the intimate details in her books.
her writing is just so beautiful, her voice even captures all the detail. I've never read the books, but after watching this... it gave me inspiration. Wow, the irony, I was just thinking of her when you replied to me. But, yes, can anyone agree more? :)
I have never been as swept away by a book as I was when I started reading Interview with A Vampire, I had seen the movie but this was so much more then the movie, so much beauty in her writings- I hope you read them all, you won't regret it!
I'm noticeing a trend with vampires and wanting to be a priest.. Lestat wanted to be a priest when he was a boy, Louis's brother wanted to be a priest, Armand (as you heard) wanted to be a priest as well... If there are any more, please do tell :)
I love her(and hate her)for being able to articulate so well my feelings exactly.Isolation!!Wanting so much to be in the world, but even in mortality,we fall o' so short.Look but dont touch, touch but don't taste, taste but dont swallow.Cannot be!May she rest in peace.
Yes, "The Vampire Armand" is a beautiful and evocative work. I enjoyed it immensely.Anne, you never cease to astound me with your powers of description, your imagination, and your deep love and respect for both the reader, and the fictitious characters of your stories.Thank you for writing all these beautiful books.
Armand, in my thinking, has always had more morality than Lestat. While Lestat makes personal judgment on who should live or die, Armand always sought out those who longed for death. While the killing is not a loving act, in Armand's mind, it was, indeed, an act of compassion.
Louis torment has haunted me since I was young - to know that killing is sin and that to not kill is the sin of killing the self. What conflict. That would be my existence were I immortal.
I had the best luck yesterday! I went to a thrift store and I was looking in the books section. I thought "No one would give away an Anne Rice book" but I looked anyway because I've always wanted one for my own. The Vampire Armand is my favorite book in all the world and lo and behold, there it was...for 3 dollars! It is mine now ^.^
Maybe you can find the essay on my website about the earlier works. They are a chronicle of a journey to Christ, and this reading is part of that. I hope you will look into the later books as they are biblically correct but fiction. Thanks for posting your candid thoughts. Anne.
@annericesite Your right about how we feel. We also feel that way when we loose people close to our lives. When something like that happens we also have this anger towards God and it changes our views on life, and what was, and what is!
Interview, The Vampire Lestat, The Vampire Armand, The Queen of the damned, Merrick, Blood canticle, The tale of the body thief, Memnoch the DevilBlackwood farm.
All of the Vampire Chronicles should be read in full, as to better understand the characters and their motivations. They are, in order: Interview with the Vampire The Vampire Lestat Queen of the Damned Tale of the Body Thief Memnoch the Devil Pandora The Vampire Armand Merrick Blood and Gold Blackwood Farm Blood Canticle
One really doesn't need to read them in any particular order, they all function pretty well independently (I started with Blackwood Farm and skipped around till I finished with Interview). But I confess I was so maddened by the hints at previous events (the first came right away: "Wait a minute... how does a vampire get a TAN???") that I devoured whichever book I could get my hands on next!
You're right; however, Pandora is a very relevant character in the universe of the Vampire Chronicles, whereas Vittorio is completely stand-alone. Therefore, I include Pandora into the Vampire Chronicles as I feel that you'd be missing some pieces if you skipped it.
I can't wait for her new book to come out "Call out of Darkness" because I want to know how she lost her religion and came back for I lost mine during my parents divorce and still feel let down by god and the world we with hold in are hands. Too many let downs in my life to see a God to Believe in and so I just stay in her world she has create.
I think Marius is my favorite, he is a father figure to me, at least.
However, Louis and Armand hit home alot. Especially Armand when he was surrendering himself, I cried, and I remebered at one time when I had so much faith and wanted to be a priest.
Her reading just reminded me, even when I was young how I wanted to be a disciple, but there wasn't any girl ones I was determined nonetheless.
Now Im a Lesbian woman, but refinding myself with her new Christ books.
When i read Memnoch the Devil the part Armand surrendered himself to the sun i was like
'What the ...??!'
and was quite relieved to find out he still lives.I love the cherub's wits and sarcasm.I finished reading The Vampire Armand just a few hours ago and Benjamin is just too adorable and lovable for words!!!
I'm expecting to devour the next volume late night tonight and i know i'll enjoy it.
To Anne Rice, your writing is beautiful and a dictionary is indispensable every time i read your work
Armand seemed to me to be a bait and switch type fellow. He wanted to be with someone and as soon as he got with them,he wants to dominate them. He also seems to crave a religious experience that will overwhelm him.
Armand was a controlling fellow, his beauty just blinded others to what he truly was.
For my taste, Entretien... or Interview... was the best of the chronicles. Now, the multiverse created with the sequel was entertaining and bold. I love to see it reflect it in other genres such as japanese comics and animation, manga and anime: Blood+, Trinity Blood, Vampire Hunter D and so many. Thank you, Anne Rice. You have your own place next to Stoker, Le Fanu, Polidori an others.
Of the vampire books, I felt a much stronger connection to "The Vampire Armand". Amadeo, or Armand, was alluring to me. Amazing to let a legacy so great come to the journey's end. I will try the new books too, I guess.
I am currently reading the Vampire Armand and I have to say it is one of the best books I have ever read. I've only read Interview with the Vampire before, and though I liked it very much I had no desire to read any of the others because I felt they were a bit too far fetched for me, especially Memnoch the Devil and the Tale of the Body Thief.. I came across this book completely by accident and I started reading it, and I was pleasently surprised. Just the humanity and love of it is shocking.
In the book Mennoch the devil you can read how the main character Lestat gets to talk to Lucifer himself and he also has a close encounter with Christ, he manages to bring the Veronica's veil back to Earth where the face of Christ is. Armand is very touched by the sight of it. So much that he wants to immolate himself. And remember... Armand is only 400 hundred years old, so... does it answer your question, at least partially?
From just having read the first three books i had no idea the books would go Christian. I have a question. U probably answer it at some point in the books so forgive me if this is the case. But arent the vampires far older then Christ. They have seen people like him come and go. How do they decide to fall for Christ and not one of the many others? How can they believe in someone far younger then the older vampires?
Ectoplasma --- We Catholics believe Jesus is God, and the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity; He is the Creator of the Universe. People like Him do not come or go for us. The Incarnation is the greatest love story I know. Thanks for your comment. Anne.
Every Christian has a dark side lol. Nobody is perfect. That is why Christ had to come and save us from ourselves. No matter how hard a person tries, no matter who they are they will never be perfect.
Every person has a dark side and that does not exclude Christians.
My second post. Anne, the Artist must follow the path of the Hermit and the Magician when confronted with the 15th card. You have done so well, so far. I have read your work and it has meant nothing but inspiration and joy to me. No matter what others say, some ones on this rock respect you and enjoy your stories. Were you a storyteller in my tribe, I would crawl to your lap everyday, eyes lock to your lips, to plunge into your wisdom.
may the creator bless you anne. you're the only author that took my mind on a journey. I love the writing it pulled me inward towards the pages. It was as if i was hovering over the action on the pages. thank you for your work your vision.
I can easily post and say that this is great. This is awesome. But that has been said.
This is greater than awesome. The Vampire Armand is one of your books that I have not read because I have to order them from the internet. I was excited to see you reading it and I was moved by the passages in the book.
You are able to describe things so vividly and so perfectly.
...and doctrines, and that this knowledge can be very valuable. I also believe that things like homosexuality being a sin were things decided by men of the day, and their idea of right and wrong. People often forget the stuff Jesus said about casting judgement. I leave that up to him, it's not my place. Also if you can't question you religion, your in a cult, and I'm not in a cult lol. I have the utmost repect for you and I love all the ideas and meanings you explore in your work.
Thank you for your generous response. I have been surprised by some of the posts here. I keep my eyes on the God-Man who founded our faith and try to ignore some of the petty things that happen within the faith community. Take care Anne.
I am a Roman Catholic and an avid reader of your novels, not just the Vampire Chronicals, though I do enjoy those. But the point I wish to make is that even after years in a very srict Catholic school, every week at mass all I ever heard that Jesus preached about was love, exeptance, and devotion/faith in Him. I truly believe in the Holy Communion, and His sacrifice [what ever His motives :-)] The rest are petty details that people decided. I believe in a knowledge of the churches history...
It is easy to say "I love God". And go about making public talks about how the Church should change its teachings. God Does Not Change, Anne. He Does NOT Change. The world does, yes. And why is it in the state of ruin it is today, as never before? Because people want "change"..they "think" they know better than God. They then become as "gods." Anne, I would love to write or speak to you personally or recommend a good Holy priest for you to talk with. I believe you would then see your errors.
This book was one of the most important books in my life. This book changed me, and show me the pure visions of beauty. Andrei, Amadeo, Armand ... a brave jorney of a soul. Please Anne, you touch the souls of so many, and did so many good things for the souls of your readers, go back to the vampires chronicles ! With love, Monteverdi
Everything comes back to Christ in the end. I enjoyed the Vampire Chronicles very much. I thought it was eerie that Aaliyah was killed in a plane crash before she could see herself as Akasha when the film was released in theaters. She did a great job as Akasha. Does your son Christopher still write books?
We love you, Anne! Please, please go back to writing Vampire Chronicles! It's what you're good at! Not to say that you're not good at this as well, but... oh come on. You know everyone misses Lestat!
I have just begun reading your books. I am not religious, though I except the thought of God or Gods, So far I am loving the books. I am up to Queen of the damned. I have been into the storyline for at least 3 years now but i just stated reading the books now. I wanted to ask, do you think you will ever go back and do some more vampire chronicles? I know that you have embraced god and vowed to write only in his name, but do you think you could?
Dear SinisterSoul --- No more vampire novels for me. But I will be writing another supernatural series, in addition to the Christ the Lord novels, with my older readers in mind. All my work is now dedicated to Christ. I can't return to my beloved Lestat. He must move on in the darkness. Anne.
Wow, religion really craps us up. God's up there giggling at all you people insane enough to question it. I'm a christian and I beleive in God...but some of you have got christianity down pat. I'm not one of those people who pushes their religion on everybody, but it makes me sad to see some of these comments, particuarly Hexis666. Some people have lost their way, and thankfully Anne Rice found HER way. I love all her books. She is such a beautiful person, inside and out.
I used to like Anne Rice's books about the Vampire Chronicles but now she is a cultist. What is so 'spiritual' in or about christianity anyway? NOTHING!! All the contradictions, assuptions that "they are right about everything" and shoving their sick beliefs on people who want nothing to do with them. As for feeling "alienated" or "far from god", what is so positive about christianity, what happiness do they **TRULY** have? Have evidence do they have? NONE!! GIVE UP THE CULT OF CHRISTIANITY ANNE
Hexis666 --- Thank you for your feed back. I am a completely believing Christian and I can take no other path but this one. I see proof of God's love and mercy everywhere that I turn. I have no real choice in the matter. I can't deny what I feel I know to be true. Thanks again for posting, Anne.
Im an ex christian, now more so a gnostic-LaVey Satanist-pagan, and I find christianity is a cult that is very subtle and cunning. I've found christianity to be very unbalanced and psychologically damaging (in the long run I mean). Even the doctrine of hell, forever, for one single life of so called "rebellion" against a god that no man can prove as his- the true and only god with his/her set name "Jehovah-Yhwh" Is jehovah a sadist or just bad at math?
Yihud, why such a negative attitude towards religion? It has shaped my life in times of light and even in times of darkness. It taught me the meaning of the intangible, the invisible, the magnificent. Hope you reconsider.
I love all the vampires of the chronicles because they are all different and interesting. Sometimes i prefere Armand oder Louis, but somehow Lestat is cute too^^
I read this book right now and I can say that Armand is very unusual person, he is more interesting than Lestat, his life is more...you know:)
I love Lestat and he is powerful vampire but Armand is my true love, when I read his book its seems that I know him. As for me I think that everyone can say these words.
We're like the Prodigal son who left the Father's house, we're feeding on husks. We have fallen, and the facts support this view. There's something wrong with us, something dislocated. God made us one way- we made ourselves in virtue of our freedom another way. He wrote the drama, we changed the plot.
of the way we are, then the rich should be paragons of virtue. The fact is that it is more the over-privileged and the rich that have mental conflicts than it is the poor. Very often the more one is detached from the world, the more normal he is. The more healthy on the inside. This world of ours has not just made a few mistakes in bookeeping, rather the world has swindled the treashury of immorality. And that is the kind of poverty from which we suffer.Somehow or other we lost spiritual capital.
Is it not a fact that never before has the world had so much wealth and never before has it had so much unhappiness. Never before has it had so much learning and never before has it had so little coming to the knowledge of truth. Never before has it had so much power and never before has it been so bent on the destruction of human life. Economic development is not the total cause of man's derangement. All the rich is not virtuous-all the poor are not sinners. If poverty were the cause of the way
A beautiful reading from my favorite of the chronicles. Armand (the book) broke my heart for it's beauty. As a BA Christian of 20+yrs, I praise God that you've found your faith, but a part of me laments that the chronicles have come to a close (how selfish am I? ). God bless you Anne, in all that you do!
to bostonsandboxers, thank you. I had no more stories to tell with the vampires and witches. I've moved into a new spiritual terrain and must write about what interests me now and that is my devotion to Jesus Christ. I thank you for your kind words on the older books. Anne.
I certainly understand, and regret that you felt the need to 'defend yourself' once again...it was not my intention, and you must get sooooo tired of it ;) I am reading CTL Out of Egypt, but got 'stuck' somewhere about 1/2 way..it's happened before with your books, and I've gone on to read through after putting it aside for awhile and finished. Don't know why it happens, but it does. Again, thank you and God bless,
I think it's good that you write about what you find interesting. I really like the Vampire Chronicles (especially The Vampire Armand) but it couldn't go on for all eternity, just because so many fans don't want it to end...
Thanks againg, it was nice to hear you read from the book, I would love to see more of your readings.

AngieCosco 1 year ago
I've always been unhappy about the fact that the Armand in Interview with the Vampire (the movie) looks completely different although he bahaves the way he's supposed to. I didnt even realize at first who he should be. That's so sad, I mean, what does a tall man with black hair do, playing a small, 17-year old-looking boy with lighter brown hair?
Kadda1234 1 year ago 4
@Kadda1234 Armand has dark auburn hair just so you know and big round brown eyes

@nightwishnemo
i meant lighter as in not black. And auburn is brown, too
Kadda1234 1 year ago
@Kadda1234 Yeah I know auburn is brown ( with a reddish tone) but his was a darker auburn not a lighter thats all I'm saying. There is a big difference between lighter auburn and darker auburn and even bigger difference between the auburns and light brown.

IshootURface 1 year ago
@IshootURface

TheHuntIsOn247 2 years ago
Anne Rice is not the mormon writer of twilight,Anne Rice is quality stupid.
esTebanLRD 2 years ago

So maybe you should be the one to "grow up"
JessyBee1313 1 year ago 3
I am so thankful that you are here on this planet with us at this time. I feel so fortunate to be able to watch you and your intelligence grow and bloom, not as a single rose, but as the rose bush. You have so much intellect that caresses everyone's lost and weary souls, and I know that watching you, read this gives me a peace, a stillness, to a broken boy who has grown into a man, lost and tattered and finding and claiming that which was lost, just as I see the evolution of the characters

I've only read Interview with the Vampire before, and though I liked it very much I had no desire to read any of the others because I felt they were a bit too far fetched for me, especially Memnoch the Devil and the Tale of the Body Thief..

I am a Roman Catholic and an avid reader of your novels, not just the Vampire Chronicals, though I do enjoy those. But the point I wish to make is that even after years in a very srict Catholic school, every week at mass all I ever heard that Jesus preached about was love, exeptance, and devotion/faith in Him. I truly believe in the Holy Communion, and His sacrifice [what ever His motives :-)] The rest are petty details that people decided. I believe in a knowledge of the churches history...
organicangel89 3 years ago
It is easy to say "I love God". And go about making public talks about how the Church should change its teachings. God Does Not Change, Anne. He Does NOT Change. The world does, yes. And why is it in the state of ruin it is today, as never before? Because people want "change"..they "think" they know better than God. They then become as "gods." Anne, I would love to write or speak to you personally or recommend a good Holy priest for you to talk with. I believe you would then see your errors.

Im an ex christian, now more so a gnostic-LaVey Satanist-pagan, and I find christianity is a cult that is very subtle and cunning. I've found christianity to be very unbalanced and psychologically damaging (in the long run I mean). Even the doctrine of hell, forever, for one single life of so called "rebellion" against a god that no man can prove as his- the true and only god with his/her set name "Jehovah-Yhwh" Is jehovah a sadist or just bad at math?

far from god,..? Sad. Its too bad shes Catholic-Christian, religious now., whatever,. to each his/her own.

Again, thank you and God bless,
Your sister in Christ,
Patti

I think it's good that you write about what you find interesting. I really like the Vampire Chronicles (especially The Vampire Armand) but it couldn't go on for all eternity, just because so many fans don't want it to end...
Thanks againg, it was nice to hear you read from the book, I would love to see more of your readings.

There will be more readings in the future. I have to do them when the spirit moves me. Anne.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
covens, vampires, witchcraft are spirits of darkness. It is also a money-maker in today's dark world. How sad.
