  • awensome!

  • AMAAAZING! Incredbile!

  • Is this arrangement (sheet music) available to the public?

  • Was it Gershwin's version of 'DO DO DO' you were at the time? so that you could mimic his style. Good Show anyway!

  • This is AWESOME!

  • Dear Maestro Harrington,

    Wow! That was mind-blowing!

I thought Michael Feinstein was good.

I mean, he is good. But you put him to shame.

  • ,,,,, MAESTROOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!......

  • Wonderful! i didn't think anyone could play like this anymore. Splendid!

  • That is fantastic! You sure can tickle those ivories.

  • Great job! You really bring this song to life. Sounds like a transcription of Gershwin's 1926 recording of this song. Is the sheet music available someplace?

  • Wow......... respect! That takes some playing, I have Artis Wodehouse's transcriptions. This is my favourite along with S'wonderful/funny face.

I think the great man would have been amused that poeple were playing his solos 80years on. Or maybe not..... he knew he was a genius!

  • You are stupefyingly good!!!!!

  • Fantastic playing and thoroughly enjoyable. Bravo!

  • very fine interpretation with a lot of swing! one can see the 20th-girls dancing charleston on the cancefloor. I would be happy if I could play the stride like you!

  • Heard and seen much. Can't say much. Top. Just top. Please more.

  • I love it!!! Well done!

  • Enjoyed it lots. Good style, crisp, clear.

  • Excellent!!!

  • Great shot. Loved the modulation toward the end, too.

  • Wonderfu tune----Please listen to Loretta's singing version on an old piano recently listed---and be transported back to 1926

  • To find this song (Do Do Do) on a Music CD, is nearly imposible. You might want to consider offering MP-3 downloads of rare songs just like this one.

  • Молодчина и Умница !!!

  • Check yukimatsuri's page. He has a link to his sheet music site with several Gershwin transcriptions of recordings and piano rolls. Warning: they are not for the faint of heart!

    We may never know.

  • It would be pleasant to Gershwin !!

    I Enjoy...

  • A great performance. Very clean and true to the style of Gershwin. You can learn a lot from this guy.

  • Terrific performance! Say, I wonder if Frank Banta made a roll of this... I should go see...

    xxEGoo :)

  • I'm happy i suscribed to you.

    Nice work!!

  • Bravo !!!! Thank you for this brilliant interpretation !

My best wishes for you , George

  • I so look forward to your videos......too few and far between. Great performance as always.

  • Gershwin was a genius composer and highly distinctive performer whose talents were gone far too soon. The mind boggles at what George might have done with even half of the time Ira outlived him by. This is the reason for having old school, excellence has no expiration date and genius immortal! George will he heard like Bach & Mozart- thru the ages. Thanks for recalling the masters technique with your own topspin. Keep 'em coming- Klav

  • For me, it's the three B's all the way baby - [Jimmy] Blythe, [Roy] Bargy, and [Frank] Banta.

But, Gershwin was certainly up there and I'm sure that Mr. Bargy and Mr. Banta might have later been as influenced by him as he was by them.

This is a really sweet arrangement, and I mean in the tender sense as well as just being really tasty novelty piano playing.

Great job cutting it! I just got this transcription and it is really hard! You manage to get his groove going again!

  • Awesome work, not just with the transcription but in giving it your own interpretation too. Your left hand seems to role these tenths so effortlessly!

  • So old school! *****

  • This is fantastic! Thanks for posting it!
