@pasit999 Either that or the amplification is mellowing the sound. The warmth on that bottom A at the start of the chorus is very typical of a Viola. Also, he's not playing that note on the lowest string, where he's playing it would be an E on a Violin.
@ziadn27 People don´t realise how hard it is to LISTEN to the viola you mean! Speaking as a player of an instrument with the same string nomenclature, albeit tuned an octave lower. And yes, I know they have to read the Alto clef; we cellists have to read Bass, Tenor and Treble clefs, as well as a much larger repertoire than bratscher scratchers. Agree with you though, he certainly is gifted...
