There is London with its poxy Thames, and Birmingham and Manchester with their puny canals, and THEN, there's the mighty and charismatic Mersey, and the City of Liverpool; the greatest, most romantic waterfront in the UK. Just looking at these photos makes me pine for that other great river and city which I love; the Hudson and New York City. Superb portrait. Congrats.

If they should be where their fanbase is they should move to Wales.

Anyway, other cities have beautiful architecture, like in Berlin, Paris or St. Petersburg. They don't have such a beautiful river though, and a dock. Hamburg's is shit. They also lack the friendliness of the population, or a scene. Really, other cities' inhabitants are often snotty, like in London or Vienna, but Liverpool is down to earth. Add the beauty to that and you have a most brilliant city.
