@gxz100 Hard to tell exactly what bikes their riding but some of the riders are sponsored by the likes of mongoose and trek for example. Maybe some seriously experienced people might help you out on that question :)

@gxz100 no worries bud. Bikes are usually built to each riders own specs thats all. Mainly at this level anyway. Everything from frames, brakes, gears, suspension, tyres etc which will either be supplied by their sponsors or personal choice. If you check some of the riders websites, you'll have a good idea of what components their sponsored by and what type of bikes their putting together.

@gxz100 At the time this was filmed Tyler Morland (the first rider) was riding Cove bikes, probably the Shocker, and Nathan Rennie was riding a Santa Cruz V10. I'm not sure what the others are riding, but I'm willing to bet it's a Cove or a V10. Not sure what they're riding these days though.

@treesareourfriends01 I dont know, whenever I do jumps, ride over rocky / rooted ground etc, I always let my legs go loose and let them act as my own shock-absorbers. It creates a softer ride, but this is only done when said ground is downhill if you get me :)

This is "relatively" easy compared to amateurs . Why? (you ask)

look their tracks are clean without bushes or grass , they use top suspensions and top tires, top bikes light and strong and they live of this so they train more than an amateur !

Their suspensions help alot , i dont know what they are , but i tried fox and sid´s in x-country against my tora and the diference is between lose or win! My bike is really really light! 10.1 Kg , it isnt competion mode but is a very good bike for amateurs!

I'm sorry mate, but all those guys have been amateurs at some point in their lives. I don't think any of them would say becoming a professional has made it 'relatively' easier. You have to put it into context. The better you become, the better the bike has to be, and you have to train harder because the competition is much much higher. Most of the pros have pretty much the same working components. The rest is down to skill, fitness, an element of luck, and the dedication to win.

@scaredweepel Look , of course it has some difficulty , but that is their job . They dont have to pay when they break a bike , they are paid to do what they do , and they like it. U have ur job and its hard too , u have to accomplish objectives and work even at night because u have to do it and urnt paid for it, its life , life isnt easy .
