GTA4 runs horribly for me. It just randomly judders, Where as Crysis can run at full graphics at 35FPS and ArmA 2 at full (in forest Lags like no other game i have in the towns) at around 28FPS
Your view distance could be higher, I have the 4870X2 2GB and I can have a view distance of 5000 with full graphics no problem. Lovely for sniping. PS don't play ArmA 2 without the ACE mod.
ati isnt bad, and a 4890 makes more fps than a 275 gtx, but a 275gtx by msi has better cooling that a sapphire 4890 and ATI videocards sometime crash the game, or u only can get a graphic bug!
p.s. Fix your fps in fraps options to fix this laggs
I have the demo for this game. It looks beautiful, even with medium-low settings b/c I have an 8600M GT. I am wondering about using ATI for a custom PC next year. Should I give up Nvidia, or should I stick with it?
BTW, fraps isnt lagging! Pretty smooth. Great graphics with a 4890!

this game is very bad optimized. Even crysis and gta iv run better.

if you want some tips about how to use fraps w/p to much lag then read:
Record in Half Size with 25fps. i did that on my old shit pc and it worked great!
