It shoots approximately 3000 rounds every minute

To get the full feel of the m134 gatling gun u really need to shoot it

In most of the footage shown from the Huey door gun the loading is 1 tracer every 5th round. From the H 500 with 2 podded guns firing at night it appears EVERY round is tracer.

Those are tracers... for each tracer you see, there are 5 other bullets you don't see...! Tracers are used to help the gunners know where they are shooting...
