It wasn't a blowout but a dominance for sure. Anyway, ND was still a good team that year lead by quinn. Hopefully you guys can beat the crap out of scum this year:)
people r acting like this game was a blowout when it realy wasn't. ohio state won by 2 tds. they were up 27-20 and scored another td to put the game out of reach. the loss to lsu was a blowout.
@buckskipper Why do you care so much what we think? If we don't belong, then surely your comment is unnecessary to begin with. This game was won by the big play. Our defense was a joke and it still took a job by the refs to help secure the win for you. We might have a long ways to go right now. But that day those teams were pretty even. We might've been a CB short. That's it though.
the only thing that was a problem with charlie weis was his defense. notre dames offense every year (besides 2007) was so explosive and so good but they had to play catch up everygame. theyre defense is horendous every year
@JB5GoIrish your right leaf was bad but i still think brady quinn was overhyped... not saying he cant be good in the nfl but i just think they overhype so many players who really haven't proved much, jimmy clasen is another example
@PittsburghSteelersTS well i hate the steelers but i love the irish sooooo much and well-said.........really the only thing osu did in this game was have big plays other than that one of their 2 td win was very late in the game its not like they killed Notre Dame
@lucasbodie89 : are you kidding? Total yards, Ohio St 617 Notre Dame 348!!!!!! Ohio St just about doubled ND's yardage and you are saying this wasnt an ass kicking? Ohio St even had 2 turnovers! hahah what a joke.
@demdomgia It took you until deep into the 4th to seal the game. WITH all that yardage and one game-changing bad call. Wasn't the butt-kicking you like to think it was.
There was a really suspect replay officiating call (at 2:24), where there was arguably not enough evidence to overturn the call on the field, that created a fourteen point swing and killed the Irish momentum going into the fourth quarter.
Just because Ohio State has been on the wrong end of many a blowouts doesn't mean that they were on the right end of one here. It was a close game throughout.
Lmao, this Biased video does not speak to the value of spanking Ohio State gave Notre Dame. Hell even Brent Musburger said last week that this game lead to the downward spiral of ND because it silenced Weis and his Arrogance of his "schematic advantage in every game" and give Charlie 2 weeks to plan for someone and he will beat them. OSU had 600 some yards on ND, Troy Smith alone had 400 some. It was an annihilation. not at one point did Notre Dame come close to looking like the better team
You are simply supporting my exact point: that when using the statistics alone, it looks like OSU dominated the game from start to finish. However, in terms of points, it wasn't until the end of the game that OSU had it out of reached (look when Tressel was dunked). Plus, if you were actually at the game, the OSU fans weren't happy 'til the end.
I was pointing out a call, when ND had 7 points overturned which resulted in an OSU TD, which was very suspect.
This was a very good game, one of the best fiesta bowls ever. Though to my fellow ND fans : This isn't a game to hold your head down about, Charlie is bringing the program up from the ashes Ty Willingham - The most unproductive coach ever left behind. Be proud to have him, he's taken you guys to 2 BCS bowl games, both classics.
I'm an ND and OSU fan, (ND fan because of the program and my heritage) and an OSU fan because I'm from Columbus, but it was really hard to explain to the ND fans in the crowds at that game since I messed up ordering my ticket where I ended up with the ND fans. I understand now where and why people get the idea that "ND has the most ignorant fan base." I mean, don't get me wrong, there were some cool ND fans there that were fun to talk to, but still. fpssf - You are a fan. Great unbiased vid.

(referring to Ohio Stadium). their center said that. look it up man. you left coast hippies have no idea what real football is. i'll give credit to the SEC cause they do but the pac 10 gets me less excited than bowling.

I still can't believe they ruled that fumble an incomplete pass. gonzo caught the ball took 3 steps and dropped it. he never once bobbled it. he ran and bounced it off his knee. bunch of crap. oh well. i get over things.
that was actually a quite fine ND team, though their last one. folks like to forget they essentially beat SC that season, and only had the loss to MSU...............going into this bowl, wherein OSU put up 600-some yards on them.
ya they didn't play their best in that game. the secondary really laid an egg after doing a nice job containing USC earlier in the year. i always thought that the 2005 team was quite a bit better than the 2006 squad. better defense, and a good offensive line. and stovall was an awesome receiver.
didn't ohio state have the no. 1 recruiting class this past year?
ya and talk about getting your shit rocked:
2006: L 41-14 (89 yards of offense)
2007: L 38-24 (it was only that close because of a late ohio state touchdown).
2008: L 24-21 (and L 35-3 against USC)
definitely ND has sucked recently, but you have no place to brag with a track record like that. you get whomped every time you go outside the cushy big ten.
maybe beat southern cal this year and you can start talking.
Dude i hate to tell you but your team blows and you havent one a national championship since they wore leather helmets. ohio state has owned notre dame the last 4 times they have played
They wore leather helmets in 1988 really? or in 1993 the year ND was robbed okay, and the series is 3-2 in favor of Ohio State, and the games have been competitive.
Also Ohio State vs. the SEC 7-11-2 with three wins coming against Vandy and three wins coming against Kentucky.
Archie Griffen was not a bust at all. He started for 9 years in the NFL. Just because he didn't earn as many accolades in the pros as he did in College doesn't make him a bust.
Second How did he start for 9 years when his biography lists him as playing only seven seasons in the NFL? he gained only 2800 yards and had seven touchdowns
Lastly: he then played for the Jacksonville Bulls of the USFL how is this even a decent pro career?
Second: His biography lists him as only playing seven seasons with the Cincinnati not nine as you state, where he only had 2800 total yards rushing and seven touchdowns
Third: He finished his career not in the NFL, but in the USFL playing for the Jacksonville Bulls if that isn't a bust what is?
I can start talking now, Since 2000 We have a NC in 2003, 3 BCS Bowl game wins, A bunch of Big Ten Titles, A win Over Notre Dame, Ownage over michigan, and michigan owns Notre Dame, our recruting classes actually show up every season, yours dont. Not to mention we dont struggle and lose against the lower class of college football (Navy, San Diego State, Syracuse yea syracuse you gotta be fucking kidding me..)
and they got a cheap last second touchdown and all ohiostate had the whole game was those luck big plays notre dame earned there touchdowns piss off fosu fans
Yep. 34 points and 600 yards of offense wirth of luck. At the time, it was the most yards EVER given up by any ND team. They might have set a new standard for incompetence since then, I'm not sure.
funny thing the Domers always forget about that play is there was a block in the back penalty on his return. Even if the "fumble" had been ruled a fumble (which it was clearly an incomplete pass), Zib's TD still wouldn't have counted. It would have been Irish ball on like their 30 yard line.
would have could have should have..........those are the words of a loser. 600 + yds of whoop ass and watching Ted Ginn and the Buckeye offense pretty much move it at will all day long. BTW Golden Domers can you say "Navy?" Oh yea and Charlie Weis is quite the coach............... lol
dude get over it notre dame fans....you had no defense (and still don't to this day)...the first, last and the one holmes caught for about 70 yards were way way way too easy...please play some defense and when u do give us a call...cause till then you won't go anywhere....SILENCE THE DOUBTERS 1/5/09
santonio holmes wasn't even trying on that play either...if you watch it again, he just was jogging cuz he thought the pass was incomplete or something
Yeah. If Holmes was running he would have caught him no problem. I know I'll probably get some ignorant comments about this, but go watch a steelers game and you'll know Holmes is fast as hell.
i live in ohio so all the osu fans talk about how this was a blowout and how they rolled over notre dame. they only won by 2 touchdowns and it shouldv been one because that one zibby returned was a touchdown
There's a huge difference here. LSU won that game 38-17 (if you subtract the BS TD at the end of the game) and OSU was never in chance to win that game after the 1st quarter. ND was down 7 points to OSU with 3 minutes left to play with OSU having the ball with a 3rd and long. That's NOT A BLOWOUT!
actually if u watched the game, it was 31-17 for most of the game until LSU threw the ball with under two minutes when most teams would be just happy to run the ball and run the clock out. OSU scored to show they weren't going to put up with that bullshit. Either way OSU was going to lose by two TDs---either 38-24 or 31-17. watch the game next time, not ESPNs highlights
Again, I did watch that game and I remember midway through the 4th quarter, everyone in the roomm being convinced that the Buckeyes had ZERO chance to win that game. You cannot tell me you thought they had a chance to win during halftime.
While they didn't get smashed as much as they did against Florida, this game was never in doubt after the 2nd quarter. THAT is a blowout
its funny seeing some of these ND fans slamming osu..are u kidding me..i mean seriously...last year had to be the worst year in ND's storied history, and showing no real signs of being any different this upcoming fall...wow...rofl lmfao. dont get me wrong osu has some work to do, actually alot if we are going to keep seeing sec teams in bowl games. overall though no one can ligitimately say osu sux...if u think they do..look at their winning percentage over the past consecutive years :)
I don't think OSU sucks by any means and I respect their tradition, but I disagree with people thinking the Bucks deserve to be in the title gameevery year, if they continue to play creme puffs for their non-conference games, and the Big Ten doesn't improve, because these past few years it has pretty much been OSU and to a lesser extent Michigan
Pretty much every team plays creme puffs out of conference, even the SEC teams. So why criticize Ohio State for doing the same thing? And Ohio State does play USC the next 2 years and will thankfully begin playing SEC teams out of conference sometime in the future. Notre Dame plays quite a few creme puffs too even though they can almost play whatever teams that they want to.
you're absolutely right. SEC fans just want any reason to try and defame OSU. hawai? tulane? citadel? louisnana tech? florida atlantic? seriosly, sec morons, give me a break.
Yeah, but top to bottom the SEC is much tougher conference to get through than the Big Ten, for many, many, many years it usually is the Big Two and the eight, now nine dwarfs Michigan and Ohio State hence the ten year war.
We should of been in the national championship that year if fuckin ambrose wooden would of broken up that 4th and 9 pass against USC.......and Michigan state loss in OT that was BS
Your right, we should have been unbeaten that year, we had both MSU and USC beat, but unfortunate circumstances lead to those losses, as well Penn State should have been unbeaten too, remember the day we lost to USC PSU lost on a last second TD throw at Michigan, imagine Texas, ND, and PSU all unbeaten at the end of the year!
No doubt that ND is a storied program. With 11 National Championships and (is it 7 Heismans?) they are one of the best of all time. Cmon they got Rudy! :)
At the same time, OSU really doenst suck and has bout as much tradition if not more pride than ND. We have 7 official National Championships 7 heismans and the most all americans of all time. We also have the second most players in the NFL.OSU and USC also have the two best winning % of the decade.
Plus what OSU fans fail to realize is that ND plays Michigan and USC every year, not Michigan and Cincinnati, Miami OH Akron, Toledo or OhioU we shall see how the bucks do at the men of troy next fall!
Air Force, Stanford, Navy.... And ND's next few years looks rough, I mean come on the powerhouse of Army, SAN DIEGO STATE, SYRACUSE North Carolina. Sheesh, if I were you I would most def. Dog Ohio State for their 'creampuff' schedules.
Michigan and USC both teams play Mich. at home, and both are at USC
but OSU plays a D-I AA or Playoff subdivision opponent Youngstown State, as far as Syracuse and North Carolina that is easily refuted with OSU playing Troy University of the Sunbelt Conference, Ohio U of the Mid-America, and in the Big Ten you play Minnesota and Northwestern gimme games, as well the only academy ND plays this year is Navy a series they have played since before WWII.
what are you talking about? a nd player wrapped up troy smith on a 3rd down, smith got out of it and got the first. if he brings down smith ohio st. punts giving nd a chance to tie or win
the same team who lost to Appy State get real, plus you lost to Illinois, who lost to Mizzou and SC get real OSU didn't belong on the same field as LSU, face it the Big Ten is overrated
Which means you lost to the team that lost to appy state? The same logic can be used for the Gaytors...UM beat them so does that mean OSU is better than UF because OSU beat UM...not neccessarily. bad ex. though b/c we all know those southern teams suck dick.
If they suck how come OSU cant beat any SEC teams? the Bucks are 7-11-2 against the SEC and 6 of those wins are against Kentucky and Vanderbilt 3 apiece, but no wins against Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, or Auburn?
boo hoo, that game would have been the same in the rose bowl, or Orange bowl, or the Fiesta Bowl, explain why OSU has consistently sucked against the SEC?
alright, its hard to say they have consistently sucked as they have only played 20 times against the entire conference. Most of those games are also either away games or bowl games where they are also held in the south. The SEC hasnt come up to the Big Ten in decades and when they do, history has shown they lose because its a completely diff. football style...its as simple as that...OSU isnt less athletic or slower than the SEC, the simply play a diff style
I'll take the kids who play at those schools as a tougher game, than Northwestern Minnesota, Indiana, and for the most part Illinois any day of the weak those kids have more heart than you'll ever have, and then to compare ND's schedule to three home games against Miami Oh, Toledo, Akron, Cincinnati, Ohio U are you serious? why not put the University of Phoenix online on your schedule?
@OwnagePlayer740 Do they play at least two of those teams in the same season or is it going to be like the last few years where they play one big game OOC and then three little sisters of Ohio the other three non conference games? So Before Miami FL they get Miami OH and then Troy and then Bowling Green
You're a fucking idiot. Troy is NOT in Ohio. Ohio State last played Troy in 2007 in a rebuilding year (they even went to a bowl that year). Ohio State hasn't played Miami OH since 2005 and don't play them again until 2012 when Ohio State plays UC and CAL in back-to-back weeks along with a rare road trip to Navy. Ohio State in 2010 plays Miami FL and 2 other teams that went to a bowl last year. Maybe you should just shut the fuck if you got no damn idea what you're talking about.
@OwnagePlayer740 You are highly intelligent using big words like fuck and idiot on the internet wow, you stay classy pal. Obviously Troy University is in Alabama, the point is Ohio State plays three patsies and one toughie in their non-conference slate. EX: 2008 vs. Youngstown St. vs. Ohio University at USC vs. Troy EX: 2010 vs. Marshall vs. Miami Florida vs. Ohio University vs. Eastern Michigan three out of four are garbage opponents, and if you disagree you are a fool
yeah because of a crap system, there were four teams easily better than OSU last fall, USC, Georgia, and Missouri, I'd go as so far as to say even Oklahoma and West Virginia as well.
I was at this game and I had a clear view of the Gonzalez fumble, it was a fumble. ND definitely belonged in this game, they had lost two games that year USC Bush push, and Mich State OT, literally two plays. It was a very close game ND mismanaged the clock in the 4th quarter. OSU fans were very rude and I wish them nothing but poor results in the future.
what i don't understand is why everybody says that ND got slaughtered in this game, while it is true that OSU was clearly the most talented, the IRish made it a game well into the 4th quarter.
Wow.. this has so much ND biased to it. This doesn't show how OSU manhandled and throttled ND. OSU put up the most yards against ND in all of their history. Troy Smith put up the most single player yards in all of ND history.
Outsanex - This was made by a ND fan for ND fans. While I concede Ohio State outplayed ND for a large part of the game, ND was still in the game at the end.
zbikowski didn't out run ted ginn....where the hell was that...yeah he picked up the fumble but ginn was no where on the screen...looked like he out ran pittman and smith
I remember watching this game and I know that Gonzalez fumbled the ball, he even admitted it on sports center.

devinesp 1 year ago
Archie Griffen was not a bust at all. He started for 9 years in the NFL. Just because he didn't earn as many accolades in the pros as he did in College doesn't make him a bust.
OwnagePlayer740 1 year ago
@OwnagePlayer740
First his name is spelled Archie GRIFFIN
Second How did he start for 9 years when his biography lists him as playing only seven seasons in the NFL? he gained only 2800 yards and had seven touchdowns
Lastly: he then played for the Jacksonville Bulls of the USFL how is this even a decent pro career?
devinesp 1 year ago
@OwnagePlayer740
First: it's spelled GRIFFIN
Second: His biography lists him as only playing seven seasons with the Cincinnati not nine as you state, where he only had 2800 total yards rushing and seven touchdowns
Third: He finished his career not in the NFL, but in the USFL playing for the Jacksonville Bulls if that isn't a bust what is?
devinesp 1 year ago
@OwnagePlayer740
1st: it is spelled GRIFFIN
2nd: His official biography lists him as playing only seven seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals accruing 2800 total rushing yards and seven touchdowns
3rd: He finished his pro career not in the NFL but in the USFL with the Jacksonville Bulls, if that isn't a bust what is your definition of a bust?
devinesp 1 year ago
I can start talking now, Since 2000 We have a NC in 2003, 3 BCS Bowl game wins, A bunch of Big Ten Titles, A win Over Notre Dame, Ownage over michigan, and michigan owns Notre Dame, our recruting classes actually show up every season, yours dont. Not to mention we dont struggle and lose against the lower class of college football (Navy, San Diego State, Syracuse yea syracuse you gotta be fucking kidding me..)
ualosacco33 2 years ago
no we didnt have the #1 recruiting class but we did have Terrelle Pryor who is considered the most recruited high school football player in 2008

buckeyboy123 3 years ago
Yep. 34 points and 600 yards of offense wirth of luck. At the time, it was the most yards EVER given up by any ND team. They might have set a new standard for incompetence since then, I'm not sure.

notre dame wldve won if they didnt take back zibbys touchdown
a6m13n4 3 years ago
i think if wlaker had a few inches on that handoff they would ve won
but the game was definitely a battle
dreadedqb 3 years ago
funny thing the Domers always forget about that play is there was a block in the back penalty on his return. Even if the "fumble" had been ruled a fumble (which it was clearly an incomplete pass), Zib's TD still wouldn't have counted. It would have been Irish ball on like their 30 yard line.
Plop.
cvillebuck 3 years ago
would have could have should have..........those are the words of a loser. 600 + yds of whoop ass and watching Ted Ginn and the Buckeye offense pretty much move it at will all day long. BTW Golden Domers can you say "Navy?" Oh yea and Charlie Weis is quite the coach............... lol
johnnyjohn58 3 years ago
dude get over it notre dame fans....you had no defense (and still don't to this day)...the first, last and the one holmes caught for about 70 yards were way way way too easy...please play some defense and when u do give us a call...cause till then you won't go anywhere....SILENCE THE DOUBTERS 1/5/09

Zbikowski outran Santonio Holmes on the fumble recovery that wasn't. Ted Ginn wasn't even on the field.
ladragon91 3 years ago
santonio holmes wasn't even trying on that play either...if you watch it again, he just was jogging cuz he thought the pass was incomplete or something
OSUbucks9 3 years ago
Yeah. If Holmes was running he would have caught him no problem. I know I'll probably get some ignorant comments about this, but go watch a steelers game and you'll know Holmes is fast as hell.

"hey, people say we got "blown out" when we lost by two td's to LSU...I dont consider that a blowout but obviously ESPN does"
LSU really won 38-17.
Ohio State got a garbage TD at the end of the game to make it 38-24.
TexasFootball2008 3 years ago 2
Why do you watch these video's if you don't like the team? Get over yourself. It's a game. Get a life.
ladragon91 3 years ago
i live in ohio so all the osu fans talk about how this was a blowout and how they rolled over notre dame. they only won by 2 touchdowns and it shouldv been one because that one zibby returned was a touchdown
koheeler95 3 years ago
hey, people say we got "blown out" when we lost by two td's to LSU...I dont consider that a blowout but obviously ESPN does
Juiceroids 3 years ago
There's a huge difference here. LSU won that game 38-17 (if you subtract the BS TD at the end of the game) and OSU was never in chance to win that game after the 1st quarter. ND was down 7 points to OSU with 3 minutes left to play with OSU having the ball with a 3rd and long. That's NOT A BLOWOUT!
Garboho 3 years ago
actually if u watched the game, it was 31-17 for most of the game until LSU threw the ball with under two minutes when most teams would be just happy to run the ball and run the clock out. OSU scored to show they weren't going to put up with that bullshit. Either way OSU was going to lose by two TDs---either 38-24 or 31-17. watch the game next time, not ESPNs highlights
Juiceroids 3 years ago
Again, I did watch that game and I remember midway through the 4th quarter, everyone in the roomm being convinced that the Buckeyes had ZERO chance to win that game. You cannot tell me you thought they had a chance to win during halftime.
While they didn't get smashed as much as they did against Florida, this game was never in doubt after the 2nd quarter. THAT is a blowout
Garboho 3 years ago
i agree with this mother fucker and im a notre dame fan

its funny seeing some of these ND fans slamming osu..are u kidding me..i mean seriously...last year had to be the worst year in ND's storied history, and showing no real signs of being any different this upcoming fall...wow...rofl lmfao. dont get me wrong osu has some work to do, actually alot if we are going to keep seeing sec teams in bowl games. overall though no one can ligitimately say osu sux...if u think they do..look at their winning percentage over the past consecutive years :)
lpman357 3 years ago
I don't think OSU sucks by any means and I respect their tradition, but I disagree with people thinking the Bucks deserve to be in the title gameevery year, if they continue to play creme puffs for their non-conference games, and the Big Ten doesn't improve, because these past few years it has pretty much been OSU and to a lesser extent Michigan
devinesp 3 years ago
Pretty much every team plays creme puffs out of conference, even the SEC teams. So why criticize Ohio State for doing the same thing? And Ohio State does play USC the next 2 years and will thankfully begin playing SEC teams out of conference sometime in the future. Notre Dame plays quite a few creme puffs too even though they can almost play whatever teams that they want to.
Buckeyes13433 3 years ago
you're absolutely right. SEC fans just want any reason to try and defame OSU. hawai? tulane? citadel? louisnana tech? florida atlantic? seriosly, sec morons, give me a break.
Juiceroids 3 years ago
Yeah, but top to bottom the SEC is much tougher conference to get through than the Big Ten, for many, many, many years it usually is the Big Two and the eight, now nine dwarfs Michigan and Ohio State hence the ten year war.
devinesp 3 years ago
We should of been in the national championship that year if fuckin ambrose wooden would of broken up that 4th and 9 pass against USC.......and Michigan state loss in OT that was BS
NDIrishFalls23 3 years ago
Yeah, all wooden had to do was turn around. But what can you expect, that kid was always getting burnt.
But one more thing, imagine our defense that year going against Vince Young and Texas...not pretty. That woulda been too embarassing.
Unfortunatecubfan92 3 years ago
Your right, we should have been unbeaten that year, we had both MSU and USC beat, but unfortunate circumstances lead to those losses, as well Penn State should have been unbeaten too, remember the day we lost to USC PSU lost on a last second TD throw at Michigan, imagine Texas, ND, and PSU all unbeaten at the end of the year!
devinesp 3 years ago

ialozie 4 years ago
No doubt that ND is a storied program. With 11 National Championships and (is it 7 Heismans?) they are one of the best of all time. Cmon they got Rudy! :)
At the same time, OSU really doenst suck and has bout as much tradition if not more pride than ND. We have 7 official National Championships 7 heismans and the most all americans of all time. We also have the second most players in the NFL.OSU and USC also have the two best winning % of the decade.
Juiceroids 3 years ago
No Notre Dame has the most All-Americans.
Alos Notre Dame has themosat Heismen winners. You have 7 but only 6 winners
Kurz1018 3 years ago
Plus what OSU fans fail to realize is that ND plays Michigan and USC every year, not Michigan and Cincinnati, Miami OH Akron, Toledo or OhioU we shall see how the bucks do at the men of troy next fall!
devinesp 3 years ago
Yeah OSU-Mich game is a joke the best rivalry game is USC vs ND. So many greats and great games.
Kurz1018 3 years ago
Air Force, Stanford, Navy.... And ND's next few years looks rough, I mean come on the powerhouse of Army, SAN DIEGO STATE, SYRACUSE North Carolina. Sheesh, if I were you I would most def. Dog Ohio State for their 'creampuff' schedules.
Crystal19761 3 years ago
ND and OSU share two common opponents in 2008
Michigan and USC both teams play Mich. at home, and both are at USC
but OSU plays a D-I AA or Playoff subdivision opponent Youngstown State, as far as Syracuse and North Carolina that is easily refuted with OSU playing Troy University of the Sunbelt Conference, Ohio U of the Mid-America, and in the Big Ten you play Minnesota and Northwestern gimme games, as well the only academy ND plays this year is Navy a series they have played since before WWII.

Tolan04 4 years ago
Yes, that would be the definition of pwned! If the Domers can't even tackle they shouldn't have been on the same field as The Ohio State
BBQbutt 4 years ago
You could say the same thing about the last two BCS National Title games!!!
devinesp 4 years ago
OSU got their which is more than you can say for Notre Dame or any other college.
BBQbutt 4 years ago
doesn't mean anything if you can't close the deal, overrated, by beating up weak Big Ten teams
devinesp 4 years ago
You mean like Michigan who we held to 91 yards of total offense. The same Michigan Offense that put up 400+ yards in Florida.
BBQbutt 4 years ago
the same team who lost to Appy State get real, plus you lost to Illinois, who lost to Mizzou and SC get real OSU didn't belong on the same field as LSU, face it the Big Ten is overrated
devinesp 4 years ago
Which means you lost to the team that lost to appy state? The same logic can be used for the Gaytors...UM beat them so does that mean OSU is better than UF because OSU beat UM...not neccessarily. bad ex. though b/c we all know those southern teams suck dick.
Juiceroids 3 years ago
If they suck how come OSU cant beat any SEC teams? the Bucks are 7-11-2 against the SEC and 6 of those wins are against Kentucky and Vanderbilt 3 apiece, but no wins against Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, or Auburn?
devinesp 3 years ago
When we don't have to play you in a bowl game in your own backyard, give me a call.
MonkeyMonkeyJoeJoe 3 years ago
boo hoo, that game would have been the same in the rose bowl, or Orange bowl, or the Fiesta Bowl, explain why OSU has consistently sucked against the SEC?
devinesp 3 years ago
alright, its hard to say they have consistently sucked as they have only played 20 times against the entire conference.
Juiceroids 3 years ago
You all play Navy, Army, Air Force, Georgia Tech and crap like that. Seriously, ND has absolutely no room to talk.
Juiceroids 3 years ago
I'll take the kids who play at those schools as a tougher game, than Northwestern Minnesota, Indiana, and for the most part Illinois any day of the weak those kids have more heart than you'll ever have, and then to compare ND's schedule to three home games against Miami Oh, Toledo, Akron, Cincinnati, Ohio U are you serious? why not put the University of Phoenix online on your schedule?
devinesp 3 years ago
devinesp - Ohio State's future OOC, Cincy, Miami FL, V Tech, Cal, Tennessee and Oklahoma in no order for the next 10 years.
OwnagePlayer740 2 years ago
@OwnagePlayer740 Do they play at least two of those teams in the same season or is it going to be like the last few years where they play one big game OOC and then three little sisters of Ohio the other three non conference games? So Before Miami FL they get Miami OH and then Troy and then Bowling Green
devinesp 1 year ago
You're a fucking idiot. Troy is NOT in Ohio. Ohio State last played Troy in 2007 in a rebuilding year (they even went to a bowl that year). Ohio State hasn't played Miami OH since 2005 and don't play them again until 2012 when Ohio State plays UC and CAL in back-to-back weeks along with a rare road trip to Navy. Ohio State in 2010 plays Miami FL and 2 other teams that went to a bowl last year. Maybe you should just shut the fuck if you got no damn idea what you're talking about.
OwnagePlayer740 1 year ago
devinesp 1 year ago
yeah because of a crap system, there were four teams easily better than OSU last fall, USC, Georgia, and Missouri, I'd go as so far as to say even Oklahoma and West Virginia as well.
devinesp 3 years ago
these are two of my favorite teams and i went for Ohio only because ive liked them longer but this game was great
julioSEA17 4 years ago
I was at this game and I had a clear view of the Gonzalez fumble, it was a fumble. ND definitely belonged in this game, they had lost two games that year USC Bush push, and Mich State OT, literally two plays. It was a very close game ND mismanaged the clock in the 4th quarter. OSU fans were very rude and I wish them nothing but poor results in the future.
devinesp 4 years ago
I love ohio state and nd

Wow.. this has so much ND biased to it. This doesn't show how OSU manhandled and throttled ND. OSU put up the most yards against ND in all of their history. Troy Smith put up the most single player yards in all of ND history.
