Have you seen any positive news about iraq on aljazeera? I havent! They dont want the good for iraq and the iraqi people, all they want is to send negative messages with their news about iraq, just because USA is there!

The Americans and the British themselves are pissimistic toward the Iraq situation. I heard many of their military officers and states-men saying that they did'nt succeed in Iraq and that post-Invasion were badly managed. And that the social and economic situation is becoming worst than before. Even the BBC, braodcasted many programs about the situation of the Iraq people, and they showed almost the same things.

I dont give a damn if USA dont succeed in iraq, for us iraqis, that we have made it so far, that we stayed together all of the iraqis, Muslims, Christians, Arabs and kurds, and showed to the world that we can live together, no matter what, THATS SUCCESS!!!!

We heard about a lot of sectarian conflicts and murders between Shiit and Sunny muslims. Many Christians were attacked and hundreds of thousands of them left the country as refugees, and so on, ...

I think that you have a wrong picture of iraq, thats because there is channels like aljazeera! The iraqi people handled the situation VERY VERY well, you have to know that. It could have ended like somalia or afghanistan. But it didnt ! You have to look at the sitution from another direction, and stop listening to mother fu*kers like aljazeera!

Iraq got victimized because of Saddams lack of charisma. He should have worn an Armani suite, not a military uniform. He should have just fell in line and not questioned the military might of the USA. In reality just before the war in 1991 stats placed the Iraqi army as the 3rd largest army in the world. Stats don't take tech into account though.

I can have a million armored knights, but i'd lose them all in seconds in modern warfare.

Some of the British media started talking about that bank accounts in Europe and USA. Many of the Iraq states men are settling in Dubai and other prestigious Gulf cities. If the situation in Iraq is better now, so I should be happy because this what I prefer for the Iraq people. However, we often hear bad news, and not only from Aljazeera, even in the British and US medias! We just need to know the truth about what really happens in Iraq.

The US invaded Iraq with the help of Saudi Arabia and it's leaders, their fighter jets flew from Islam's Holy of the Holies, so don't talk to me about Muslim nations standing together, we don't want to stand with hypocrites like you,and we are not a Muslim nation,we just want to be left alone and for you to stop sending your crazy suicide bombers to our country. 70 billion and you are asking them to rebuild a country? There are neighbourhoods in California that have more money than that.

The country IS being rebuilt and a huge majority of the oil money being brought in is being contracted out to companies in Canada and the United States to do reconstruction of primary services like electricity.

Ultimately if the Iraqi people had kept a horrible dictator like Saddam from being their representative to the world, they wouldn't be in this mess.

The people did not have much say about their dictator. He was evil but he did provide the people of the baath party with free health care and college. Iraq had more phd's than any other nation on earth. Saddam did not bomb his people, someone else did.

When you divide that money by population it doesn't go far (<$3000 each) and they need that money to rebuild the infrastructure destroyed by sanctions and war. The problem is that America is sucking wealth from Iraq (petrodollar etc) which will return Iraq to a third world child mortality rate that existed when america last controlled Iraqs oil (pre-Saddam). Basically Iraq children die so americans can drive hummers.
