The island is using Claire, either dead or alive, since the explosion in her house, to keep Aaron away from the island. This is a dream. And we seeing her in Jacob's cabin, believes that she is dead. If the twist is, that Christian went in the house, and protected her within the radius of explosion. And brought her to Jacob's cabin. But that would have to make abit more sense, if we didn't see Claire looking all sad.
