  • put Chris Dodd in jail.

    he is a fat cat!

peter schiff was right about this pig.

  • Quote from asshole Dodd concerning AIG execs:

We wrote the language in the bill, the deal with bonuses, golden parachutes, excessive executive compensation that was adopted unanimously by the United States Senate in the stimulus bill, Dodd told CNNs Wolf Blitzer this afternoon.

  • Chris Dodd is a crook. Want to find where AIG monies went. Look in Chris Dodd's back pocket.

  • How will you defeat this determined enemy?

Islamic Fascist want to convert America to Islam, or make us slaves, or kill us to achieve an Islamic State. Negotiating with them will not change their minds or stop them from making war. On the contrary, appeasement is victory to our enemy no matter how small the concession.

  • Where did Islamic Fascists say they want to convert America to Islam or make us slaves, or kill us to achieve an Islamic State? LAST time I checked they said we INVADED THEM! Oh wait they hate our freedom and envy us for our wealth right? Yeah forgetting that we're not the richest nor the most democratic nation on earth today. Why don't they hate the rest? why us?

  • fox news is evil.

    9/11 was a inside job

  • Agreed with Shmuelthinker.

Remember that the primary reason countries in the Middle-east hate us is because of our pathetic entanglement.

Say for example Iran. If you remember what happened in 1953 and a little before that, we basically sold out their democractically elected government for a pathetic shah only to gain more money and their army

Iran's specially religious because their leaders on a political scale failed them. The religious leaders (Khomeni) gave them hope.

  • cool

  • There you go again! Good questioning!!!

    Sparkles

  • interview mike gravel again please

  • James deserves WAY BETTER than Faux News IMO - this is real journalism. Albeit new and weird sometimes, but this is how raw it should be.

  • great video, I really want to see more of this. We should dig all the journalists and get James a job at Fox news.

  • what does john stewart have such a grudge against dodd? and he does seem articulate.

  • Out of all the Democratic candidates running for President, I like Senator Dodd the most. He seems very intelligent and articulate. And this is coming from a Republican.

  • Thanks for true journalism. I feel our media is/ has been corrupt and honest inedepent journalism is key to current day perspectives. Our media has hidden agendas. Make sure you stay true to indepence.

  • all those other journalist just wishing they were as cool as you!

  • Dodd was right on the Health care question that was one of the most moving and passionate question, the lady removing her wig, that was sad and our country needs to take care of the weak links, we are only as strong as our weakest links!

  • great questions man.

  • yes, too many questions!!! yes,all ?'s are important -BUT, the most burning questions ie; the war, and issues concerning the most people, need to take priority.

  • The debates should be longer and the candidates should have at least 1 minute to answer each question.

  • Ron paul in 08!

  • Well what he's talking about basically removes the point of the YouTube debate, having only 4 issues with half an hour each would make the YouTube videos almost completely irrelevant.

  • I don't get your point. Why couldn't you have multiple YouTube videos covering details about immigration reform or healthcare, for instance? There are MANY facets to these problems. I don't see a more in-depth coverage and YouTube as being mutually exclusive.

  • Well, I just think it would be kinda pointless then having several questions on the exact same subject.

But, this debate was the first ever, so I imagine they will think of what to do next. I thought the forumla they used though worked pretty well.

  • So you don't think that, say ten unique questions could be asked about details on healthcare? Or do you think that would be too much detail? Honestly, all we're going to get if the questions are shallow and simple are shallow and simple answers. I think we should want more than that.

    gary

  • Well as a "YouTube" debate it worked well, of course there will be other debates in the future that won't have YouTube's involvement, and in those I'm sure they will be able to go into as much depth as they like.

  • I do with the candidates had more time

  • Dodd is right -- there were too many questions and little substance, I think.

  • Totally 100% agree...

    gary

    ExpertVoter(dot)org

  • I agree as well.

Good, compact interview, James. The first couple of questions were the best. The third question could have been asked by any interviewer, and, in fact, he used it as an opportunity to inject his campaign sound bites, which we've already heard during the debates.

  • First !!!
