I apologize if this is a stupid question but where are these special endings from? Don't say gundam seed destiny cuz that's obvious but are they from the episodes or some sort of directors cut or what?

Shinn reminds me of Camille, The blond girl ( I forgot her name, but he piloted the big gundam/ mobile armor) reminds me of Four and Lunamaria kinda reminds me of Fa. all from Zeta Gundam.
I think one of the biggest hints about Asucaga still being on are in the SE endings. For example, in this one, around :53 when they have the flashes of the couples, we see Kira/Lacus and Shinn/Luna (the former which is guaranteed, and the latter which is very likely) and Athrun/Cagalli. I think that means something. Also, in the Final Plus ending, they show clips for the same three couples. So yeah, I think those are pretty big hints about the future of Asucaga.
Kira was too jind and didn't want to kill Shinn. Stella had to die like Flay and Meer or it wouldn't be fair. Shinn is way too over confident. I know his past is sad but Kira's is sadder.

I felt irritated all through GSD whenever it focused on Shinn. The conflict between Athrun and Kira in GS was more compelling. And is there a major difference between the subbed and dubbed versions of the show? Because I'm looking through comments and I feel i missed parts of both series.
@Uchiha899 Shinn irritated me so much. I feel absoutely no sympathy towards him or his arrogant attitude. Athrun was REALLY tolerate to have dealt with him (which he did well). I thought Kira's character was underplayed and he didn't look much happier in DESTINY. In fact, the only time I've really seen him drive with emotion was when he was with Flay. I think he would have been much happier with her... well, she would have made his life much more interesting.

@StephenETavington well u also have to remember when kira was talking to athrun he did not really want to fight zaft plus he was looking out for the archangel making sure they got to the sea he lost the x10a but the ship and crew made it to the waters if the show went with the 1st story line no one would be having shin/kira fights cuz they would both be dead.
@StephenETavington Also Shinn spent countless hours studying Kira's previous actions and moves, to the dot. Without that , Shinn would have never been able to defeat Kira, but it's good planning and thinking on Shinn's part

Actually Durandal said that Shinn had the "potential" to defeat Kira because of he had the seed factor. Many people had the seed factor and wasn't able to defeat kira definitively. Athrun and Shinn both came close
@Shinn0128 You have a point. That what I'm saying that he didn't understand the Impulse very well that Shinn has unlimited spare parts and had even blown a broken chest flyer in the Freedom's face. All the tactics and skills don't work. But yes, I've rewatched the scene and I do think (compared to what the same thing he did to Yzak in GS) this may be more than a bluff.

You must also see that Kira was trying to protect Archangel too and got defeated when he looked away.
From the creators' point of view, Freedom had to be destroyed, if it did not, do you think the audience would like Freedom to once again dominate the battlefield, which would be another 30+ episodes since it re-appeared in Destiny? And to be honest, if Justice was not destroyed in Seed, it would have suffered a similar fate, maybe destroyed by Rey?
Stellar was hot and all but she was also sort of pyschotic if she didn't freak kira would not have attacked and she would still be alive and would have gone with shin. Sorry shin and stellar but technically she killed herself

Personally, don't have to agree, but I'm going to put it out there - I think Athrun is a real asshole. I think that could just be his personality but on the other hand - that's just me.
I think Kira is a little odd, and he really annoys me in Destiny just for the reason that he killed Stellar. I don't agree that Shinn should have shook hands with him for an ending.
Shinn, he's awesome - but his Gundam ain't the coolest. That's my opinion lol, so don't thumbs me down just because of it.
Actually I'm the other way around. I don't like Shinn throughout the entire series, he's far too naive and he just acts like a brat. I respect Kira because he's trying to cease the fighting between ZAFT and the Earth forces, he's the one that's really fighting for peace. Shinn feels like he is but he's only making things worst, and he doesn't listen to Athrun. Kira had to kill Stellar, there was no way other way to have stopped her. Athrun, yes he's an asshole in destiny until near the end.

I'm not a fan of Shin either because he thinks he's the only one who's had it bad. I lost my family because there was a war in Orb and it's their fault. Freedom killed Stellar. We all know what Kira and Athrun has been through.

Kira didn't pilot the strike because he wanted to at the beginning. H epiloted it becasue he had no other choice but to in order to protect his friends. Shinn became a soldier of his own free will. What he really needed to join was an anger management club though.

absolutely right! either way, even if Shinn saved Stella and ZAFT gets rid of Phantom Pain, LOGOS and the Earth Alliance and there is world peace, still Stellar would have died XP its inevitable! BTW ShinnxLuna fits a lot better.

i find kira&lacus to be a very boring coupling. if you ask me kira&flay was way better! at least things happened in their relashionship. i bet kira hasn't even done it to lacus! in the 2 years they lived together in. flay was a way better and more interesting partner for kira. in the end i personally believe that kira loved flay more then he can ever love lacus. his relashionship to lacus on the other hand seems more of an obligation rather then love.
lets not go to the "do it" part since only Bandai know whether or not they did it . But yes I prever KiraxFlay because seem to me she is really the one Kira loves . Lacus seem like the one that love Kira since through out Seed she has been helping him . But well Kira owe her a big deal , since giving him Freedom indirectly cause her father death and save his life after his fight with Athrun . I actually like KiraxCagalli but well since they make them siblings , cant help it .
you just said it yourself. Kira owes Lacus alot. so that's probably the main reason they r even together. on top of all that kira can use lacus 2 get as many powerful gundams as he like from her. she does after all have the power 2 do that. lol
BUT all in order to protect her =P and he've never failed protecting her (maybe ya because of the powerful gundams he gets.. NAH he does have skill :D)

I don't think Stellar should have died either. But I guess they had no other choice. Ever noticed that all three guys' first relationships never worked out? AthrunxLacus? Engagement was pulled off. KiraxFllay? Fllay died. So since Stellar was Shinn's first interest, i guess it was only natural she died too. Doesn't make it any sadder though. That's why I liked ShinnxLuna from the beginning. Lol. I like both Stellar and Luna. Most people like one and hate the other. It's wrong in so many ways.
To be fair, Stella wasn't written in a way that she could survive. Without her drugs, she would have eventually gone into withdrawal and died. Like Rey, Le Creuset, and all the Extended, Stella was on her way out from the very beginning. That's why it bugs me when people get mad at Kira for killing her: he only sped up the inevitable, and saved a lot of lives in the process. As for hating Lunamaria, I don't get it. It's not like she stole Shinn, he just decided to move on for once.
The hating is probably because the ShinnxStellar fans feel threatened that the relationship they support is being jeopardized. It happens with all pairings. Fans of one pairing almost always automatically hate 'the other girl'. I really don't understand why they keep hating Lunamaria. Their relationship [Shinn and Lunamaria] was mutual. It wasn't like she forced herself onto him.
I know that's why they hate her, I just don't get it. It's not like with some other shows, where by being with one girl, Shinn removes any chances of being with the other. He and Stella had a relationship. She's dead now, and if he moves on Shinn fans should be happy for him, not angry.
Hey, did you notice, Kira is the only one of the three pilots who didn't have another girls with him in this ending. I guess it's because Lacus is the only girl for him ^_^

Actually Durandal said that Shinn had the "potential" to defeat Kira because of he had the seed factor. Many people had the seed factor and wasn't able to defeat kira definitively. Athrun and Shinn both came close

@Shinn0128 You have a point. That what I'm saying that he didn't understand the Impulse very well that Shinn has unlimited spare parts and had even blown a broken chest flyer in the Freedom's face. All the tactics and skills don't work. But yes, I've rewatched the scene and I do think (compared to what the same thing he did to Yzak in GS) this may be more than a bluff.

You must also see that Kira was trying to protect Archangel too and got defeated when he looked away.
From the creators' point of view, Freedom had to be destroyed, if it did not, do you think the audience would like Freedom to once again dominate the battlefield, which would be another 30+ episodes since it re-appeared in Destiny? And to be honest, if Justice was not destroyed in Seed, it would have suffered a similar fate, maybe destroyed by Rey?

Personally, don't have to agree, but I'm going to put it out there - I think Athrun is a real asshole. I think that could just be his personality but on the other hand - that's just me.
I think Kira is a little odd, and he really annoys me in Destiny just for the reason that he killed Stellar. I don't agree that Shinn should have shook hands with him for an ending.
Shinn, he's awesome - but his Gundam ain't the coolest. That's my opinion lol, so don't thumbs me down just because of it.

Actually I'm the other way around. I don't like Shinn throughout the entire series, he's far too naive and he just acts like a brat. I respect Kira because he's trying to cease the fighting between ZAFT and the Earth forces, he's the one that's really fighting for peace. Shinn feels like he is but he's only making things worst, and he doesn't listen to Athrun. Kira had to kill Stellar, there was no way other way to have stopped her. Athrun, yes he's an asshole in destiny until near the end.

If Kira did not kill Stellar what would happen?
A) Shin would be killed since he was in the way of the blast
B) Shin be killed along with the rest of the Eurasia
C) Shin, Eurasia, and everyone else be killed.
I'm not a fan of Shin either because he thinks he's the only one who's had it bad. I lost my family because there was a war in Orb and it's their fault. Freedom killed Stellar. We all know what Kira and Athrun has been through.

Kira didn't pilot the strike because he wanted to at the beginning. H epiloted it becasue he had no other choice but to in order to protect his friends. Shinn became a soldier of his own free will. What he really needed to join was an anger management club though.

absolutely right! either way, even if Shinn saved Stella and ZAFT gets rid of Phantom Pain, LOGOS and the Earth Alliance and there is world peace, still Stellar would have died XP its inevitable! BTW ShinnxLuna fits a lot better.

i find kira&lacus to be a very boring coupling. if you ask me kira&flay was way better! at least things happened in their relashionship. i bet kira hasn't even done it to lacus! in the 2 years they lived together in. flay was a way better and more interesting partner for kira. in the end i personally believe that kira loved flay more then he can ever love lacus. his relashionship to lacus on the other hand seems more of an obligation rather then love.

Lacus seem like the one that love Kira since through out Seed she has been helping him . I don't think Stellar should have died either. But I guess they had no other choice. Ever noticed that all three guys' first relationships never worked out? AthrunxLacus? Engagement was pulled off. KiraxFllay? Fllay died. So since Stellar was Shinn's first interest, i guess it was only natural she died too. Doesn't make it any sadder though. That's why I liked ShinnxLuna from the beginning. To be fair, Stella wasn't written in a way that she could survive. Without her drugs, she would have eventually gone into withdrawal and died. Like Rey, Le Creuset, and all the Extended, Stella was on her way out from the very beginning. That's why it bugs me when people get mad at Kira for killing her: he only sped up the inevitable, and saved a lot of lives in the process. As for hating Lunamaria, I don't get it. It's not like she stole Shinn, he just decided to move on for once.

The hating is probably because the ShinnxStellar fans feel threatened that the relationship they support is being jeopardized. It happens with all pairings. Fans of one pairing almost always automatically hate 'the other girl'. I really don't understand why they keep hating Lunamaria. Their relationship [Shinn and Lunamaria] was mutual. It wasn't like she forced herself onto him.

I know that's why they hate her, I just don't get it. It's not like with some other shows, where by being with one girl, Shinn removes any chances of being with the other. He and Stella had a relationship. She's dead now, and if he moves on Shinn fans should be happy for him, not angry.
