Whatever happened to the BD-10? They had a supersonic homebuilt version of it, but they stopped producing the kit.

From what I've read and heard, the BD-10 was canceled because the prototype broke up at supersonic speeds

the crashed test models. there was a fatal flaw in the design somewhere nears the tail i believe. they just stopped making it. i think theres a few kits out there but very rare.

this thing looks fantastic, and at USD 400.000, have you ever concidered that there might be a good military market for these aircraft. a lot of countries need to replace there older Hawk and Tucano trainers. this could be a good low cost sollution. :)
