  • At last, Paul, tough guy that he is with "ice in his hair (veins)", admits he no longer "likes it in the snow", can't survive alone, is vulnerable and wants to come in from the cold. He's been heading in a more honest and open biographical direction in recent years - away from the mystical, meaningless and cryptic - and, not only is he a better man for it, I can can identify with him more and more now. He moves me now as a mere master songsmith never really could before.

  • Such a sweet song.

    I wanna go home too

  • Paul McCartney is a master of a melody. Is he still in music business, maybe making a new album ?

  • Sublime chanson découverte à Bercy en décembre dernier avec la bande annonce du film projetée......

  • Simplemente hermosa que mas puedo decir......

  • How do you come home when Linda was his home? I love him but there is so much more meaning to this song which will be evident at a much much later time. Why is Heather Mills on this?

  • Paul McCartney reminds me of the fact that good music still exists. After losing such amazing musicians the crap music has taken over. I am truly grateful for men like Paul. He keeps my hope alive. Really, all we need is something to believe in. Paul is that.

  • brewdarrymore put a link to this video on Drews website that wasn't very nice of you to say what you said did on his channel.

  • Seems they suspended his account.

  • Yes he was suspended for Copyright infringement on one video. Do you own the copyright to this one?

  • No, actually this is a copy of an original. I have no idea who made this other than probably the poster withe most views. That sucks.

  • Didn't even have time to make amends.

  • Fantastic McCartney

One Of The Best Song Wtriter of all the Time

  • no cualquiera ha vendido más de 2000 millones de discos a nivel mundial hasta la fecha, los beatles lo han hecho y, de lejos les sigue elvis presley con 800 millones de discos vendidos. the beatles are the greatest musicians of XX.

  • "not everyone has sold over 2,000 million records worldwide to date, the beatles have done, and are followed by Elvis Presley away with 800 million records sold. the beatles are the greatest musicians of XX" Thanks for commenting :)

  • This song proves again that Paul McCartney is the greatest (pop)composer of our times!

  • the prettiest/best song he recorded in years

  • ive got a dream home i wanna go home...tnx sir paul for a lovely new song...can't wait to see the movie...

anyway my sister ana adore tthe beatles and became her inspiration to learn different musical instruments without any formal music lessons but its not her profession she's a medical doctor now but still music is part of her life so is my brother....

  • this is pauls imagine!

  • Thank you for the video showing Paul's great range of talent for songwriting. He, along with his Beatles band mates, always put out songs that do not sound alike. Paul is a great genius.

  • really awesome, and very emotional

  • To MeanMrMustard99: The first TWO chords are the same as Dream On. He immediately changes after those two chords.

  • paul is the greatest

  • i love him.

  • Paul, oh wow.

  • MACCAS BACK!!

  • what a nice song, now i feel like watching the movie to see how it fits in.

  • Cool tune, the first few chords on the piano are the same as Aerosmith's "Dream On"

  • Thanks yerblues,but I think I commented before.Cheers.Ed from me to the man...this is fantastic.Brilliant.

    HFS.

  • great song

  • Ditto, I wanna go home too....but I can`t, I`m trapped...

  • We wont have him much longer people and his last few CDs have a lot of personnel reflection in them.Just enjoy while you can.

  • Maybe, maybe not. Paul is 66. One of the greatest American composers of all time, Irving Berlin (White Christmas etc.) lived to be 101. That's 35 more years. You never know. Thanks for you're great comment and have hope. :) Ed

  • Boneless...thanks for reminding me of why I love Paul so much. He's one of my favourite artists growing up as a kid. Now, that I'm all grown up, Paul never ceases to amaze me with his words and music. I love this song. Thank you for doing this!....5*'s!

  • I'm proud, I'm european..

  • Music in your heart, music in your soul... You are the music Paul...

  • me encanta paul mccartney...

    muy buen video! =)

  • Yes, he is great. Sí, es grande.

  • Paul is HUGE!!

    GREAT!!!!

  • Great song. Is it new or a leftover from the Chaos&Creation sessions? The production sounds like C&C.

  • Paul MCacartney has written an original song, (I Want To) Come Home," for the upcoming Miramax Films release Everybody's Fine.

After attending an early screening of the film, McCartney felt a deep connection to the material and began writing the song that very night.

Reflecting on his reaction to the film, McCartney said, "I could definitely identify with Robert De Niro's character because I have grown-up kids who have their own families."

  • Thanks

  • Its new from the new movie Everyone's Fine to be released in December, 2009.

  • December 4th as I stated in my more info column.

  • Great song and video! Where does it come from?

  • So Paul McCartney makes still songs. I don´t remember when he did his last album for now. Good song. I still don´t know how to play guitar or bass like Macca does.

  • Paul can sure still write great songs, but he does not have the hight range in his voice anymore, his last solo album was in 2007, & was full of songs like this a very good album, he did release an album in 2008 called "Electric Arguments" under the name "The Fireman" with Killing Joke member Youth it was an even better album. Thank for sharing, I have an accustic guitar but still cant play it after 1 year lol

  • Actually he has the exact same range as experts tested it. It's just your ears have gone bad, not Paul's voice.

  • LOL probably is my ears, 40yrs of listening to Paul & Johns great music has taken it's toll, but yeah listening to the last Firman album especially the first track. Love this song.

  • I'm glad you have a sense of humor. Refreshing. I think his range is the same but probably harder now to sustain it without constant singing. Once a singer stops singing for a while it takes time to get it back. Ed

  • That's right Ed, but Macca is all ways recording & performing that's probably why he still still has his range, have you seen him live Ed, I'm not bragging but I've seen his 5 times since 1990 he is amazing. If you've not seen his make sure you do before it's too late, it's great to meet you Ed

  • Superb song by Macca! Great job with the video. Looking forward to seeing how its used in the film 'Everybodys Fine' starring Robert DeNiro and Drew Barrymore.
