Part 1/4: We were a 3-men-party having 2 guides, one cook and 13 porters. Part 1 begins with a muddy ride through the forest to the Lemosho trail head where the hike begins. We are spending a night in the Big Tree Camp in the forest and carrying on next day to traverse Shira. Coming through Shira1 we arrive at Shira2 in the afternoon. Our first glance on Kibo is the following morning. The journey continues towards Barranco Camp via Lava Tower.
