Had one 2" deep into the meat of my hand, between the thumb and index finger. Pulled it out, followed by a nice squirt of blood. Taped it up with a lunch napkin and electrical tape, went back to work.

It does hurt, i was in vo tech class this morning using a paslode propane nail gun, i was nailing a stud to a top plate for a wall, when i pulled the trigger, the nail hit a not, shot out to the left through to wood and went completely through my thumb. Im only 17 and i was doin it at school not even gettin paid. haha sucks

FYI:  I talked to an EMT friend on the way to do the procedure. There was actually a plan and backup plan. It did come out surprisingly easy considering there was some concern as to whether it was stuck in the joint/bone.
