The times are more traction limited and limited to what power we can harness through the torque converter rather than the power we can make at the motor. To go much quicker, I will need a custom torque converter and a really well prepped track.
yea but still this engine is only bored .020 over stock all of the other cars that run this fast dont even have close to the stock engine dimensions and are never fwd and yes stock gtps are slow but even a 3.4 pulley makes them pretty fast
@ThriftyCougar Actually, when this video was shot (and when this car ran 8.65) the bottom end was 100% stock. The crank, rods, pistons, and bearings were never removed from the motor. The bottom end came out of a 2001 GTX parts car that I bought wrecked.
