Enjoy versus Achieve - good question! I do think that if you enjoy something you are more likely to achieve great results, and that if you are achieiving then it will give you enjoyment as well. but they are different, since enjoyment is mostly about the present while achievement is in the future, and usually needs you to do some things that you don't enjoy right now in order to get the achievement later.
I've done the list but I can't see the realation between the "archieve" and "enjoy". Could u give me more info plz? Do u mean what i list in "enjoy" should contribute to "archieve"?
I know how you feel. Until recently I had a job where some things took 20 minutes and similar looking things took 2 days. A few options are:
Offer to give a presentation to the team on a difficult bill.
Take annual leave for 2 weeks and be sure to ask your manager how your replacement went or
Tell your manager you would like experience in another part of the team. Spend 2 weeks there and kill it. Do twice as much as others then mention WHY you did, because it was sooo easy.
How do I show someone who doesn't totally understand my job... that I have had a VERY successful day... despite "hard paper" results... I am in medical billing.. and I have to "un-jumble" very complex.. old bills. These bills can be accomplished, on average, in 2 hours; yet standard bills take 1/2 hr. I am getting flack at work for not "producing"; yet I am working as hard as I can, and I truly believe I am accomplishing A LOT! The simple fact is, I can't "prove" it to my superiors; any help?
